Yes.

Did he have the power to lay down his life, and the power to take it up again?

He is God.

Jesus had such Power because He is God.

Not before He was proven. The cross would be His final testing/temptation. It would be then and only then John would later be able to declare Him to be the Word made flesh per John. 1:14. . . .". . . and [He] dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." John 1:14 (ESV)

OMT: Death has no power over a sinless person. You failed to address that truth.

Jesus is the LORD from heaven. He is the WORD made flesh.

He had always been God and has never ceased to be God.

Should I add you to the Christ deniers list?

Why not take the better approach and learn that what you wrote wasn't secured to the writers of the gospels or letters until after Jesus was proven to become eternally the "Word made Flesh". That is why testings were required of Him; testings that proved not only His allegiance to God but and by that same allegiance enabled Him to conquer Satan, stripping him of his power over man. Here, in the easy to understand ESV:

Speaking of God:

"You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, putting everything in subjection under his feet.” Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting that he, [the Word of God] for whom and by whom all things exist [per John 1:1-2], in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation [Jesus] perfect through suffering. For he who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one source. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers". Hebrews 2:7-11 (ESV)

"secured to the writers"? What kind of nonsense is this?

As God, Jesus is the eternal Word. God cannot be 'tested' for sin. He was tested in His humanity and not His deity.
Joh 1:1 KJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:14 KJV And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus was born,

Jesus grew in wisdom,

Jesus was tempted,

Jesus died.

Jesus was raised from the dead.

Jesus Father , is His God.

Why the Bride of Christ is the Body of Christ. 2

1Co 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

2Co 11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Eph 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
Eph 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Eph 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
Eph 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
Eph 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Eph 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
Eph 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

These verses make it clear that the body of Christ is the Bride of Christ and is the Church of which Christ is the Husband and Head.

So that if one is not a member of the Bride then one is not a member of the Body of Christ.

Much more later.

Still true.
