I wanted YOUR opinion. :AMR1:

My opinion is in the subject title of this 3 part thread.

I think if he had worded it better, it would have been harder to make a case against him or to jail him.

"A monk who was earlier this week arrested for distributing leaflets across Cambridge claiming that gay people are “corrupting young children”, is the director of a Catholic charity which spends tens of thousands of pounds each year."

I definitely would have used different words:

"....claiming via the homosexual agenda that those who are part of the LGBTQueer movement are indoctrinating, grooming and sexually molesting young children..."

Jail or no jail for me GFR7/Scot?

Not sure what the US or the state of Kentucky would do to you.

In the UK, you'd be facing some serious jail time. :plain:

(btw - it was his use of the words 'anuses' and 'penises' which I was questioning)

“Christmas is the invasion by God into the world He created out of pure love; which through man’s evil has become a polluted landscape of de-humanized people, debasing themselves with their false gods and fetishes.

“Homosexuals, like vampires in their insatiable lust, prey upon youth, as they conspire to create more of their own kind, meanwhile busy abusing each other’s anuses and worshiping (sic) their own and each others’ penises in a festival of authentic Satanism.”

Or worse, be forced to watch Morrissey music videos day and night.

(They're both medical terms and both are body parts that are frequently used in acts of homosexuality).

Morrissey would be healing. :)

Merry Christmas to one of my favorite people in the world, aCultureWarriror...

Remember when you're walking by a gay bar and get that overwhelming urge to go in and celebrate that:

Jesus is the reason for the season (be strong and keep walking).

Now that the Thanksgiving turkey has had a chance to digest, it's time to start playing some Christmas music.

I'll be singing this on Christmas Eve at my church's candlelight service; I'm playing it now because it gets me into the Christmas spirit.

It's wonderful to envision aCW singing in his Church by candle light.............

Silly aCW. :chuckle:
When I was doing some academic research I was staying for many weeks in a quite famous gay enclave on Cape Cod (I needed to use their library and other historic places) (the place is called Provincetown). When my wife and son were with me, or if they were back home, I had to take my meals and drinks in gay bars and restaurants - indeed, there were no other kind. I assure you it was no big deal and no temptation. :chuckle:

Ah yes, weeks and weeks of spending time in Sodomy and Gonorrhea Northeast in name of "academic research".

So you "had" to to take your (imaginary) wife and son to a place where moral degenerates frequent, many who undoubtedly were pedophiles? A bag of chips and a soft drink in my hotel room would have been my choice of dinner...but then, I would never put myself or my real wife and children in a similar predicament.

I don't know about the gay bars where you are aCW, that you may be drawn to, but if I were tempted to go into any pub or bar, gay or otherwise, then I'd probably just go in. :plain:

Most of the bars that cater to homosexuals here in Sodomy and Gonorrhea North are in a area east of downtown called "Capitol Hill" (aka "the Swish Alps"). Most of the windows are dark on the outside, as it probably makes the old timers (if you can find one still living) long for the days when doing lewd acts inside bars were illegal (hence the dark windows). Knowing what kind of filthy behavior these unrepentant degenerates engage in, I really wouldn't feel comfortable eating or drinking at said establishment.

My wife and son are not imaginary; I assure you they are very real (one in heaven and remains a living presence in our lives; one living with me)

Our time spent there between 1998 - 2004 belong to the happiest memories of our lives. Provincetown is rich in history; it was home to Hemingway, Windham, and to our nation's greatest playwright, Tennessee Williams; it is a tourist destination for many hetero families - yes, upper middle class families with children - in the US; my mother -in -law and sister- in- law and her family used to join us, as well as my Uncle and 2 cousins. My son spent the time enjoying the pool and seashore with his cousins.
The bars and restaurants are gay, yes, but full of American historic charm and the best cuisine in the Northeast. You are really showing your Southern Provincialism; plus your IGNORANCE, bigotry, and RUDENESS.

The SPLC article was written as an opinion, it didn't show any factual evidence that refuted what Nazi historians such as Lenz, Shirer, Knickerbocker and Snyder said about Hitler and his SS.

Here's something from your SPLC article that's very easy to refute:

"The myth that Nazis condoned or promoted homosexuality sprang up as a slander against Nazi leaders by their socialist opponents in the 1930s. Only one of the half-dozen leaders in Hitler's inner circle, Ernest Rohm, is believed by credible historians to have been gay."
http://www.theologyonline.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4144197&postcount=3962

From Scott Lively's article entitled:

Homosexuality in the Nazi Party

"The favorite meeting place of the SA was a "gay" bar in Munich called the Bratwurstglockl where Roehm kept a reserved table (Hohne:82). This was the same tavern where some of the earliest formative meetings of the Nazi Party had been held (Rector:69). At the Bratwurstglockl, Roehm and associates-Edmund Heines, Karl Ernst, Ernst's partner Captain Rohrbein, Captain Petersdorf, Count Ernst Helldorf and the rest-would meet to plan and strategize. These were the men who orchestrated the Nazi campaign of intimidation and terror. All of them were homosexual (Heiden:371).

Indeed, homosexuality was all that qualified many of these men for their positions in the SA. Heinrich Himmler would later complain of this: "Does it not constitute a danger to the Nazi movement if it can be said that Nazi leaders are chosen for sexual reasons?" (Gallo:57). Himmler was not so much opposed to homosexuality itself as to the fact that non- qualified people were given high rank based on their homosexual relations with Roehm and others. For example, SA Obergruppenfuhrer (Lieutenant General) Karl Ernst, a militant homosexual, had been a hotel doorman and a waiter before joining the SA. "Karl Ernst is not yet 35," writes Gallo, "he commands 250,000 men...he is simply a sadist, a common thug, transformed into a responsible official" (ibid.:50f).

This strange brand of nepotism was a hallmark of the SA. By 1933 the SA had grown far larger than the German army, yet the Vikingkorps (Officers' Corps) remained almost exclusively homosexual. "Roehm, as the head of 2,500,000 Storm Troops," writes historian H.R. Knickerbocker, "had surrounded himself with a staff of perverts. His chiefs, men of rank of Gruppenfuhrer or Obergruppenfuhrer, commanding units of several hundred thousand Storm Troopers, were almost without exception homosexuals. Indeed, unless a Storm Troop officer were homosexual he had no chance of advancement" (Knickerbocker:55).

Now I'm not great at math Art, but I can count past "one".

Would you like to see the post where a historian talks about the arrest of Adolf Hitler by Vienna police for male prostitution? (of course you wouldn't, but it's in the table of contents for your viewing pleasure).

Uh huh, so an article based on documented history is 'opinion' and anything one of your hero's writes is "fact" right? Do you have any idea what it means to be intellectually honest and objective on a subject? TPS is simply not taken seriously by anyone with credibility in the historical field.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexuality_of_Adolf_Hitler

http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Holocaust/homo.html

Regarding the SPLC: Americans For Truth About Homosexuality's Peter LaBarbera did a great job of chronicling the HATRED that this ultra left wing organization that you use as a legitimate source has towards those who embrace decency.

Oh yeah, cos all your links are neutral and dispassionately objective on the subject aren't they, and it's hardly as though the SPLC are the only organization that roundly criticize and debunk your hero's little book anyway is it?

Once again, let me know when TPS becomes established as historically and factually accurate and then there might just be something to refute. Until then...

Beats me why you don't just move to the Bible Belt, ...unless despite what you say about it you do like it there for some reason?

Quite. You'd think that someone who has such an abhorrence to such goings on would have moved sticks long ago to somewhere more amenable...

Sorry, but spending time in a "gay destination" wouldn't be on my list of places to spend vacations at nor would it be a "happy memory" if I unfortuantely had to stay there for a night.

http://www.visit-provincetown.com/gay-and-lesbian-history-of-provincetow/

Admit it, you love the homosexual culture.

Provincetown is rich in history; it was home to Hemingway, Windham, and to our nation's greatest playwright, Tennessee Williams

"Miss Nancy" was the name that Williams' father called him, no wonder he turned out to be a flamer.

http://www.glbtq.com/literature/williams_t.html

(I don't believe I've ever heard a straight guy say that the moral degenerate Tennessee Williams "was our nation's greatest playwright").

it is a tourist destination for many hetero families - yes, upper middle class families with children -

Who obviously had "to take their meals and drinks in gay bars and restaurants" as well, because tourist destinations don't have anything else.

Uh huh, yep.

If I speak ------------- I'll regret it. Yes, we stayed at lovely places, and yes, almost all run by gay people and filled with gay people. I was lucky to do the research I did. We had a lovely time, and a plague on you for trying to make it something it was not. And to speak of our nation's greatest playwright in that manner---do you approve of the way his father abused him???????

The guy's a crank, you must know this by now. His idea of 'fine literature' is reading 'americansfortruth'.

Let's face it, he doesn't care about gay people, straights or anyone else, he only cares about this whacked out blog and he'd be gutted if his premise actually came to fruition ironically as he'd be utterly redundant (okay, he is already) and he'd have nothing to bloviate about.
