Ronald Reagan as Governor signed the bill legalizing abortion in the state of California BEFORE the Supreme Court ruled on Roe v. Wade.
He could have vetoed it.
So ignore the fact that a conservative appointed Court gave us abortion and that despite Reagan appointments and promises they haven't done anything THIS time it will be different?

Neither appears to matter. That's part of why we need a changed electorate (it's happening) and a Constitutional amendment (it will).
Not all Republicans or Democrats are on the same side on that, though in general you're right.
Or, as I do, have an argument. A way that isn't just more of the same.
