Who Here Chose To Be Heterosexual?

So was I. I could imply the same about you if I wanted to but I'm not into trolling so please take that sad act somewhere else.

No.

See what I mean? Irritable.

I remember mama, saying, “Do not choose boys impulsively, or for prurient desire, rather bid your time to reflect on the finality of commitment.”

I choose when the time was right!

In those days, no one choose to be homosexuals, as such choosing would lead to total ostracism, being consider a debouched creature, infected with concupiscence, and would render one vulnerable to acts deleterious to ones' person

Well that rather lends credence to the notion that people don't choose to be homosexuals as why would anyone choose to be such in a society that would treat them like that?

You culturally developed your self-righteous predisposition to judge others according to political correctness through repeated exposure to a bunch of lies.

Perhaps...perhaps not.

But don't dodge the issue by changing the focus upon me. I've no pious dogma which dictates self-righteously condemning/segregating a specific segment of society...you've, on the other hand, somehow proudly absorbed such mindless ideology.

What factors within your life have nurtured such ignorance?

No, you're irritable when anyone questions or criticizes homosexuality. Always have been. Irritable, in fact, to near the point of seeming defensiveness. You and Auntie Grantie both. Every time. Hence...

uncertain-smiley-emoticon.png

Oh boy, now the 'Auntie' epithet. Are you related to aCW by any chance? He's just as much of a crank where it comes to making out folk are gay if they don't ascribe to his 'ideology' on his three year personal blog.

Look dude, I'll tell you what I tell him. If I was homosexual I'd have no qualms in admitting it. Why would I or anyone else? It's not like there's a threat anymore for people out of the closet and recognizing that as a positive thing doesn't make one gay by association.

If you're going to be in any way consistent then would you apply the same level of 'uncertainty' to those who are fixated on the topic - like aCW? A guy who spends little time talking about anything else, who's been banned for lurid innuendo on more than one occasion and who isn't above posting unnecessarily graphic content on his own pet project? Somehow I think not.

Or, society just lost it's standards altogether. You will notice that this change on how society views homosexuality happened in a thirty years of hippiedom, drugs, immodesty, and general loss of respect for honor and legacy.

LGBT, the overwhelming minority of society (3%), maintains over 60% of all HIV, has a list of over fifty serial killers, and has a strong culture of rape and molestation.

So, what were the 'zealots' lying about? It's you all who lie- even the psychological and medical fields changed what homosexuality was not by evidence, but outright force. This is even amply known and still, no reversing back to the truth, it's all about political correctness and liberal shenanigans!
That's what gets me about society, the utter fanaticism- we're calling falsehoods truth now because people can't handle the truth_

Granite and Arthur,

Are you homos? I don't mean together...

:darwinsm:

You appear to be claiming that learning to be a homosexual requires a person to be born with a prodigious talent for something, perversion perhaps?

:darwinsm:

Okay, well thanks for your 'input'.

is that what you say to your boyfriend?

No problem, Meshak.

It does make clear one thing, they disappeared, for sure! :noway:

I remember old women would shudder more at the subject, not mentioned, than over a murder.

They hitched a ride to the coast........... remember Dan White? It seems like yesterday to me.

It is so hard for anyone to understand how much time effects ones attitude, especially today! Not to say they are missing out on insight, rather they are missing the point of view, in flux.
They fail to see how the measure of personal relevance changes with time.

Well, they wouldn't have disappeared, they'd have just been forced to hide such for fear of repercussions and probably forced to live a lie to cover it up. They'd still be there and likely in unhappy relationships/marriages where the women in such weren't exactly getting the best deal either when you think about it.

If homosexuality causes more consternation among folk than murder then I'd say society has progressed for the better as that's no longer the case. It wasn't that far back where black people weren't allowed in cinemas and where women and children practically had no rights or a voice at all. Things change with time and perhaps not always for the better but more so than not I would say.

"I agree"

This may be true, and this is up to you, far more than me. I am yesterdays papers, and have sense enough to know it.

What ASC does not get is what I have said here; my generation took a stand, which seems extreme today, and since this is the case, there is but two choices, to leave it be, or become an infamous anachronism.

The issue, with people of colour, for me, in my time and in my understanding cannot and shall not ever be compared, or made a template for this issue. The twain shall not meet; we were held to racialist thinking, which was lifted by what appeared in our own lives everyday, and all common sense, such racialism was no more than a caste system, where the advantage became something imagined by the few, yet perpetuated into the consciousness of the many, until the many threw off the shackles, as worthless, and repressive as they had became to all of us, no matter what colour we are.

It must be considered as a factor in the development of the abnormal sexual response known as homosexuality.

"Must" according to who? How fragile do you think kids are? Or put another way, just how delicate a balance do you think human sexuality really is?

You guys should get a new hobby. Seriously.
