Kaylon Johnson, an African American campaign worker for Obama, wasphysically assaulted for wearing an Obama T-shirt in Louisiana following the 2008 election. The three white male attackers shouted “[inappropriate expletive deleted] Obama!” and “****** president!” as they broke Johnson’s nose and fractured his eye-socket, requiring surgery.....town heretic

Why wasn't this story plastered all over the news? This kind of thing would dominate the news cycle for months. Where are the perps? Why aren't they behind bars? This sounds just like the sexual assault allegations against trump. Where is the arrest and conviction? Zip. False story it seems.

Unfortunately for you, TH you only have ONE devoted fan, that being, yourself.

Quixotes...2,966 posts, 175,420 views.

On average the threads I start across a fairly wide range of topics draw well, but I don't consider the viewers personal fans. They like the bits or the subject or both. They don't know me. I think investing in the fan notion is as peculiar as what you're attempting to do with it is common.

You are a "Legend in your own mind," my friend.
You sort of said that already. Originality really isn't your strong suit then...so it's like debate for you. Something you mostly don't do or do well. Tough break on a chat forum. :plain: Have you considered taking up semi-pro gum chewing? You'd likely have the jaw for it.

You are lucky, though, some folks go through life with, no fans.
Not half as lucky as you are to have all those commas in your life. If you spent half the energy you do talking about me trying to answer my rebuttal--you'd be even more embarrassing to read, so keep at this. I completely see what you're doing and why. :)

No, not according to me, according to the coverage piece I used to note it.

First he tries to reinvent the actual context, making it seem more like something I believe instead of a thing reported. Doubling down on the "rumor" insinuation with:

Why wasn't this story plastered all over the news?
That's where I found it. :plain:

Also reported in The Hill, CNN and through other media outlets.

This kind of thing would dominate the news cycle for months.
In what world? News cycles are short absent additional feed in or a lack of other events. You just cobbled this imaginary standard so you could do subjectively what you can't do objectively.

For those playing at home, the first leg of trying to discredit is creating a context that makes it more palatable. In this case, the invented standard. Having done that you proceed to the next leg:

Where are the perps?
You'd know if you cared to.

Of course, the easy parallel in dismissing the aim of CS's intent is: where's the guy who jacked Spencer on national tv? If that had really happened it would still be dominating the news cycle, right?

Why aren't they behind bars?
Supra. Yeah, if Spencer was really hit (fake video maybe?) then where's the arrest? Why isn't that guy behind bars?

This sounds just like the sexual assault allegations against trump.
I'd agree that at least some of those allegations are likely true. This one is absolutely true, but you'll have to wait while I continue to note the problem with your methodology.

Where is the arrest and conviction? Zip. False story it seems.
Where's the arrest and conviction with Spencer? Zip. False methodology it seems. And worse as far as simple research goes. Okay, as promised then:

After the national news moved on, local channel 12 reported:
Shreveport police arrested Jimmy Booth, 25, of Longview Texas accusing him of second degree battery against Kaylon Johnson, 32.Police say Booth and three friends were in Shreveport partying and on their way back home, stopped at the Citgo on I-20 and the Bert Kouns Industrial Loop exit where the altercation took place.

Johnson, a volunteer worker for the Barack Obama campaign, suffered a broken nose, broken tear duct and broken eye socket. He says racial slurs were launched against him and President Elect Barack Obama. Booth didn't appear to have a scratch on him when he was escorted into the jail by two Shreveport police detectives. Booth is being held on a $50,000 bond. If convicted he faces a maximum of 5 years in prison and a $2000 fine. The FBI's investigation is still underway.

UPDATE:
Sources tell us the FBI interviewed Kaylon Johnson and are now investigating the beating. Our sources in the department confirm an investigation is underway.

Johnson said back on Monday that his attackers used racial threats against him. The 32-year-old will undergo two different rounds of surgery to repair his eye socket, nose and tear duct on Friday. (link)

They aren't nearly as offended by the word as they may have used to be.
For one, it's 2017 :plain:

I lived in the inner suburbia for half my life, I'd at least like to think I know more than our CNN's and NBC's

The media has stigmatized the word
And
what you see among riots are largely the people who are so easily offended.

Take into account ALL the people, offended by anything, which you see in the media
The fact is that most black people really just don't care anymore. The media lies to you.

remember "no limit nigga"?

I've checked some of your "Learned Posts" and found copious amounts of errors so if you want to go there I'm more than willing to make them public. I notice when somebody is getting the best of you (Which is the least for MOST) you take the low road and attack their punctuation or other minor problems. Very PETTY of you I might say. Actually, I do say. By the way, my strongest suit is, my Suedesuit.

TH is an extremely pompous/arrogant and pretentious fellow. He pats himself on the back so much, I'm surprised he hasn't formed a blood clot in his shoulder area.

Hey, TH, let me know if you want me to display your spelling and punctuation mistakes? Since you seem to want to go down that road. You're a real "Class Act" pal.

By which you probably mean you found a couple.

I don't care. Go ahead. Knock yourself out. What could it hurt, posting wise. :D

No, I only do that when someone is being petty and making me or someone else the issue while avoiding the issue. They rarely seem to understand why. Or when someone is mocking the intelligence of another poster and doing so in a way that, when pointed out, is funny. You know, the old, "Your so stupid" and the like.

Very PETTY of you I might say. Actually, I do say.
Repeatedly even, supra.

TH is an extremely pompous/arrogant and pretentious fellow.
What you lack in originality and wit, by which I mean originality and wit, you more than make up for in repetition. :thumb:

I tried and it didn't taste very good. These commas are for TH: ,,,,,,,,,,
They don't bother me, they bother you. And I already told you why I noted it. I honestly don't care if you know when to use a comma or not. Most people tend to overuse them. I do on occasion, myself, if you, can believe, it. This isn't a term paper, but you it set up the breathless intent of what followed nicely and you'd been behaving badly, as so many of you "winners" have since the election.

Hey, TH, let me know if you want me to display your spelling and punctuation mistakes? Since you seem to want to go down that road. You're a real "Class Act" pal.
Seriously, if repetition and bumper sticker posts were an Olympic event you'd be the pride of the nation. And you can judge class when you begin to display it. The only thing worse than a poor loser is a poor winner.

prolly gets hisself rubbed down with witch hazel every night :)
Sod imagining me being rubbed down...well that's not a little bit creepy, is it. :noid:
