ECT What makes Preterism so impossible

What evidence?

Some guy 2,000 years later says the body count was wrong vs. an eyewitness?

Ask him what evidence he has if you have the courage. I'm sure his study has authors who have a more scientific method of determining ancient body counts.

You do know that eye witness testimony is incredibly unreliable right?

It is therefore meaningless to accuse anyone of following fallible men when everyone does it. GET IT???????

You Darby followers just don't get it.

Your Dispensationalism didn't exist before John Nelson Darby.

You can try to spin that all you want, but Dispensationalism didn't exist before 1830.

Even if true, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE!!!!!!!

What does it have to do with making meaningless charges of following fallible men?

GET IT????????

I'm sorry? You "hope" that the body count of the DofJ is one person? Why are you even involved in this question? Get some basic history texts together before you say anything else--Eerdmann's church history, Durant, Michener, Grant, Keller.

That's what Danoh said. He is smart enough to look at all the evidence. Ask him to give you the evidence regarding the body count. Let's see if you can counter with anything other than you trust Josephus.

No skeletal remains nor evidence of bodies having been disposed by some means, have ever been found. These guys know this.

But as I have already noted; one will never be able to satisfy a neurotic ans that is exactly what Tel-a-lie is.

Josephus is to Hal Lindsey what Tel-A-Lie is to Jerry - another ShuGART coater :chuckle:

Courage?

Danoh is a joke. He can't even defend his own claims.

Courage.....LOL.

What "authors" are you talking about?

The only people that deny what Josephus wrote are people with an agenda.

You do know that eye witness testimony is incredibly unreliable right?

The eyewitness account of Josephus confirm the prophecies that Christ Jesus gave 40 years earlier.

Time to split. People have other things to do besides arguing with blind people.

Darby Followers are the blind people.

It is the Darby Followers who are trying to rewrite history to make history fit the false teachings of John Nelson Darby.

Even if true, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE!!!!!!!

When did you turn into Hilary Clinton?

It makes a difference because you want us to believe that God hid biblical truths for 1,800 years, the revealed these truths to John Nelson Darby via a "vision" to a teenage girl.

The eyewitness accounts of a fibber; where it buttered his bread - just like Tel the Josephite :chuckle:

Josephus, ah yes; who prophesied to Vespasian that Vespasian would be Emperor, and Vespasian went and made it happen - some prophet :rotfl:

Hmm, all of a sudden its as quiet as that Western Wall was for a time (that the Romans left standing and prohibited the Jews from worshipping at for a time).

So, Danoh has finally taken the "there were still some stones left standing" stance.

:rotfl:

Let's go back to Luke 19

(Luke 19:43-44) The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44 They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”

You want us to believe a third temple is going to be built in the future, and then every stone of this future third temple is going to be left not standing upon another because of the Jews who rejected Jesus in the first century.

You're a mess Danoh.

The passage explicitly says that not one stone will be left standing upon another to the people who rejected Christ Jesus.

This of course, lines up perfectly with what Christ Jesus said in the Olivet Discourse.

Darby Followers like Danoh want us to believe that Christ Jesus teased us in 70AD.

They want us to believe that the Romans surrounded Jerusalem (just like Jesus said), the Christians fled to the mountains (just like Jesus said), there was great tribulation (just like Jesus said), the temple was destroyed (just like Jesus said), BUT allegedly there was still a few stones still standing on other stones.

So, according to Danoh, Hilston, and many other Darby followers, what happened in 70AD was a really, really, big tease.

Sorry, but Luke 19:43-44 proves Danoh, Hilston, and all the other "there were still some stones" people wrong.

The truth is that everything that Jesus said would happen before the generation of His contemporaries passes away did in fact happen exactly how Jesus said it would.

There's more than one cave in Josephus overall narrative, but, if I'm not mistaken, it now sounds like there is a sect that denies that Masada took place. Is the IDF aware of this un-event?

Idiot; you proved what I have said all along.

One, you never proved whether or not I ever said anything about those those stones (not even what I might or might not believe those stones may or may not have been a reference to);

Two, you proved you have no intention of exploring the issue;

Three, you imbecile; you now assert I believe in some third Temple.

What a fool set in his ways you are.
