Unless You Believe That I Am "HE" (GOD) You Will Die In Your Sins, John 8:24

It is very important to know who Jesus is. If you believe that he was just a good man you will probably not be saved. Jesus claimed to be divine. He said to the Jews, "You are from beneath; I am from above: you are of this world; I am not of this world. I said therefore unto you, that you shall die in your sins: for if you do not believe that I am he, you shall die in your sins" John 8:23, 24.

Once again this scripture proves that we are justified by faith. Faith in a man is not going to save you. We must believe that Jesus was God in the flesh if we are going to be saved. Only God can defeat sin, death and the devil and reconcile the world unto himself by Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:19. I also believe that you must believe that Jesus is the savior of the whole world, 1 John 4:14. To not believe that Jesus is the savior of the whole world is to not believe that Jesus is God.

Many will be lost because they do not believe that Jesus was able to abolish sin, death and the devil and in doing so reconcile the world unto God. They just simply do not have faith in him. When you add anything to the Gospel such as works or whatever, you have dimnished the saving work of Christ and have made Jesus less than what he is.

Jn 8:24

24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

They believe not because they were not Christ's Sheep that He layed down His Life for Jn 10:26

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

Teaching Salvation by works, by what a person does, which denies the Saving death of Christ !

Once again you have taken something out of its context and added your own imagination into your interpretation to suit what you prefer to believe. The "I am he" statement is explained within the context and it is not a reference to "equality with the Father" status, (and if it was then even Paul would be a liar because Yeshua would be exalting himself to equality with the Father). John 8:12 is the beginning of this passage spoken to the Pharisees and Yeshua references the commencement of the discourse later in the same passage, (Messiah Yeshua says he is the Light of the world, and the Light of the world is the Son of man, that is, the Messiah and Teacher sent from the Father).

John 8:12-28 KJV
12. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
13. The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
14. Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
15. Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
16. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
17. It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
18. I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
19. Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
20. These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
21. Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
22. Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
23. And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
24. I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
25. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning [John 8:12].
26. I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
27. They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.
28. Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

Jesus was not God's robot as you seem to believe.

Jesus was equal with the Father, he was the second person of the God head. All that we will ever know about God has been revealed to us by Jesus.

"In him dwelt all the fullness of the God head" Colossians 2:9.

I teach what the Bible says.

The Bible says that Jesus has tasted death for everyone, Hebrews 2:9.

And that now we are justified by faith, Romans 3:28.
You teach contrary to the scripture, you teach salvation by works, by what a person does! You discount what Christ did to save his people!
