Everyone learns, grows, and changes over time, chrys. So this isn't a condemnation, just an observation. I'm just thinking that maybe part of why you're so vehemently anti-Democrat isn't only the political/social issues (understanding that's the major part of it), but might be partly tied up in the fact that you used to be one of them.

Of course it was an issue then. It was a huge battle. I was aware of it, and I was still a kid.

You can fall back on your default of blaming the feminists, but now that I know you voted against the Republicans for so many years, it sounds a little hollow now.

I guess I was walking in the march for life in our city when I was a kid before you were even aware of the issue.

Also, to this point in my life I've never voted for a Democrat.
