There is only the eternal NOW, but that includes everything in it, and that includes the entire past and the entire future.

I agree... but as SH's point suggests, even the eternal now could be nothing more than a mental construct. Don't get me wrong - my experience tells me the eternal now transcends the "me" that experiences it but that proves nothing to others.
