You are giving a wrong interpretation to ὡς. You make it something vague, imprecise, with no meaning. That is not how John use ὡς. Jesús is indeed and with no doubts the only begotten. John does not mean any indefinition or vaguety, but an asertion.

You have just proven that PRIOR TO is within the meaning of ὡς, so are you arguing that PRIOR TO the sixth hour is the meaning of the passage in John?

At the sixth hour Jesús is at the cross. He have been at the cross since the third hour. And have been at the Golgotha before that. After being 3 hours at the cross, a darkness covered the sky.
At the sixth hour Jesús is at the Gabatha being trial by Jesús. Jesús will continue to be trial for a good while after the sixth hour. He will be presented to the Jew with Barrabas, will be sentences and will be wiped.
Obviously, both sixth hours refers to different days.

Why do you say "after that" here? And how do you know He was on trial at the Gabbath by Pilate at the sixth hour?

Is the sixth hour reference here in verse 14 a tag on what came before or does it apply to what was going to be said by the writer of this gospel account afterward? Can we know for sure/certain? If so, how can we know?
And, was it the sixth hour since midnight or the sixth hour of daytime?
These are both important questions. Obviously they relate to each other.

the sixth hour is the sixth hour. there is only one sixth hour and it si 3 hours after the 3rd hour (or 21 hours later).
Jesus was at the gabbatha at the 6th hour and was crucified at the 3rd hou (21 hours later)
I don't know this to be the case. I don't see the transpiring of a day (to a new day) mentioned.

I don't know this from what I read in the Bible. I don't know this. I don't know this to be the case.
