I've known plenty of people who smoke, and ultimately drive while high, and none of them have ever gotten into an accident in the fifteen years of doing so.

Thank you for pointing out that those people (and I used the word "people" loosely...) have absolutely no respect for the law.

I find it hilarious that those as yourself actually aim to be ignorant, and then sell your propaganda to people. It reminds me of why anyone would ever drink the kool aid at a candle convention

I can say that there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that evil people like you don't even so much as flinch when they read about the pain and suffering that others go through because of the self-centered/all about me mentality that you and those who think like you have.

My wife ended up with a broken pelvis, pneumothorax, dislocated clavicle, and one side of her lower lip permanently numb. Our friend was in an induced coma for a couple of weeks while the swelling on her brain went down. The kids only suffered minor cuts from flying glass. I'm told the rescue workers were teary-eyed from relief after seeing there were kids in the car and then finding they were unharmed.

Both women have made close to a full recovery after hospital stays and lengthy physical therapy. My wife still doesn't have feeling on that side of her lip, and her clavical is not expected to ever go back into place...

I have a difficult time posting in dope threads because druggies are, to put it plain and simple:

the scum of the earth.

That being said: they can ask for God's forgiveness and lead meaningful lives, many have and many will continue to do so.

And the 90% of officers who typically let people go knowing they are high.

Hide behind the law all you want, it is not an infallible construct.

Yall are being punished for the sin you deny, being a tyranny to others by it. I'm not even on the subject of weed anymore, because I have no doubt in my mind that it's wasted energy on people like you.

You're the wicked one wishing death or imprisonment on pretty much anybody who doesn't fit your exact idea of a person, you Gestapo moron.

While I do think driving while stoned is probably the wrong thing to do, you are correct about our good friend Mr. Busybody.

CS Lewis had him pegged along time ago

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 New International Version (NIV)

19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

This is true. And every Christian should make this their life's mission.

Frequently smoking marijuana has many of the same hazards as smoking tobacco with respect to damaging one's lungs, with the additional factor that the smoke is drawn into the lungs much deeper and held in the lungs much longer, thus trapping more of the tars and carbon particulate in the lung tissue.

The widespread access to "medical", and more recently, recreational marijuana has given rise to new and (arguably) safer delivery systems and methods.

Concentrations of resins without the cellulose fiber can be smoked with far less tar and carbon, or ingested orally entirely without the potential of damage to lung tissues.

The latter of which would, to my thinking, be more in keeping with Biblical guidelines.

Genesis 1:29

I'm sure gluttony is the exception, right

Just making a point- the only one's really treating their body as a temple in the context many put it are vegan monks.

What the verse is really teaching is to not profane your body.

You left out the intoxication part. There are no laws against driving while smoking a cigarette

Care to talk about "dabbing"?

"Biblical guidelines" say that you're supposed to be alert for others and yourself. Whether you're high off smoking marijuana or from ingesting it through a food product, you're still not in control of your senses.

If you wish to debate me on that subject, let's get started.

If you feel froggy, let's do it.

Pay attention, I already did:

But in the mind of a Christian Libertarian* such as yourself, there shouldn't be laws that prohibit recreational drug use, homosexuality, incest, bestiality, abortion, necrophilia, all kinds of pornography, prostitution and suicide (if I forgot anything, please add it in your response).

*The term "Christian Libertarian" is an oxymoron, as you can't be a follower of Christ and a "It's MY body and I'll do with it as I damn well please!" Libertarian
.

Start another thread, or move it to my WHMBR! thread where I've exposed the Libertarian cult in Part 2, or let's get it on here.

Your choice.

Can you point to that law in scripture? Thanks in advance

That old bag again.

It doesn't mean what you think it means, especially in a democracy you retard.

The Founding Fathers committed treason, therefore render unto England. Women didn't have 'equal rights', render aCW

I bet if you zipped your lips, your head would explode. Why don't you go smoke some weed :rotfl:

Like many drug addicts/alcoholics, you've had a tough life Crucible. Why not seek professional/spiritual counseling so you can overcome the living nightmare that you're living?

Have faith in God, He'll help you recover from the unmentionable things that have happened in your life. Drugs will only temporarily ease your pain, He'll help you defeat them forever.

It's weed bro. Weed. It doesn't make anyone a 'drug addict'.

You're an idiot.

And I haven't smoked it in years. I graduated to hard liquor- that's where your so called 'gateway drug' got me
