Jesus' followers are supposed to praise God for Christians showing their obvious good witness to the world.

It is not happening in most church community.

Their lack of esteeming Jesus' teachings are showing vividly in their practice of endorsing their members joining the military and actively involved in the politics.

Those are clearly dismissing Jesus' word of "love your enemy" and "His followers are not of the world".

Thank God we have a military otherwise, we'd all be communists by now.

And JWs are one of the most faithful followers of Jesus Christ, and most of the churches are so busy throwing rocks at them.

It is sure is sad situation.

They don't follow pagan practice like most churches are doing.

OT is full of admonishment doing such things.

You self-righteous denigrator.

Meshak can't win. You attack her for saying that Christians must DO what Jesus says, because, you say, we can never measure up enough to save ourselves, and then you attack her for saying she knows she can't completely measure up (which you say yourself)! Obviously Meshak knows that Jesus' redemptive power will "fill in" where she cannot. Did you miss that?

I think maybe you just don't get it. I've seen where Meshak has said that first we accept what Jesus did, and then we follow his instructions. That is what the Bible teaches, and if you missed it, maybe you can read it again.

Let's do that.
Let's read the bible.

Romans 5 KJV
(18) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
(19) For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

If you are relying on your own righteousness at all, you are relying on the wrong one

.Obviously Meshak knows that Jesus' redemptive power will "fill in" where she cannot.
Both you and Meshak are wrong.
Jesus did not "fill in".
Jesus did it all.
It was NOT by the righteousness and obedience of two (you plus Christ).
It is by the righteousness and obedience of one (Christ only).
That leaves your own righteousness and obedience out of the equation.

You and Meshak both rely on two rather than one.
Your reliance is misplaced.

You're not a church goer, how come you think you know what every church is teaching?

Jesus does not take delight in slandering His faithful ones.

You better watch out who are doing it.

meshak is dangerous like a kid that learns how to light a match. She gets and understands a tiny tiny portion of the Bible, then she runs amok in the world acting like she knows the Bible. She is a dangerous and false teaching person that can harm new Christians. She is so prideful if she sat through a good Church service she would say the pastor was wrong. Her mouth must be stopped.

"Perfect" means to the extent possible.
No, it does not.

Your version:
Matthew 5 KJV
(48) Be ye therefore perfect to the extent possible, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect to the extent possible.

Correct version:
Matthew 5 KJV
(48) Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

No human being can be perfect in this system of things. But we can do what we can do, even though it's not perfection in the complete sense of the word.
You can keep trying to be perfect, or you can rely on the one that is perfect.

Are you saying that YOU are perfect?
The blood of the perfect one covers all my sins, past, present, and future.
All your "trying" can never accomplish that.

JW's don't follow Jesus Christ.
They don't believe that He rose from the dead, which is necessary for salvation.

THIS is what I was replying to. SHE DIDN'T SAY THAT.

I am going to assume you're not been here long.

When a person says "I obey what Jesus said", for sure you're saying that it has to be perfectly; otherwise, you would be lying, for Jesus said, 'be perfect as the Father is perfect' (Matthew 5:48).

Has meshak obeyed Jesus' saying?

If you, KR, are going to say that your salvation is connected to 'going door-to-door' preaching a false gospel, others have to assume that you're, KR, are saying that you are working for your own salvation and presenting the works of your hands which have already been rejected.

You get Jesus wrong, KR, and it matters not anything else you might get right, for Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross of Calvary, EXCLUSIVELY plus ABSOLUTELY nothing, is the foundation where your (and anybody's) salvation rests.

God the Father is PLEASED only with His Son and what His Son did on the Cross of Calvary. If you, KR, are not found in Christ, the Father will not accept you, for the Father, ACCEPTS only His Son and what His Son did on the Cross of Calvary.

You reject Jesus as God, you are presenting the works of your hands which have already been rejected.
