Vote on what name we should give the nicey "God is love", "don't judge", "love the sinner, hate the sin" type Christians? Feel free to give your own suggestions.

"Jello Christians" is inventive. They're wiggly and squirmy and form-fitting. Easily malleable. But they'd just come back with the response, "there's always room for jello."

"Spineless Ones" is just too cliche.

I like "Ignoes." It's catchy.

No... I'll stick with Ignoes.
That's a bizarre answer, since all of those are Biblical positions. Call them soft positions, if you like, but they are clearly Biblical.:p

What's wrong with just calling them Christians?
:confused:

I mean, not everybody is born (again) a Bible expert.

I'm not talking about ones who aren't experts but ones who can't even grab the basics.

disciples (except for the part about not knowing the Word.)

Jesus said in John 13:
34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Maybe what Jesus said is more important than what Poly thinks. I know it's more important than what a bitter soul like Billy Bob thinks. I feel sorry for him everytime I read his posts. It sure is more fun (and more productive for the advance of the Gospel) to love people than to find a million reasons to hate them.

So if you want to callme an Evagellyfish, I'll take it. At least I'm evangelizing.

C'mon, I think evagellyfish is cute! Call me what ever you like...and Billy Bob and Poly are two of the folks here I'd most like to actually meet...maybe they could come over to the house...or we could meet at a gun rally in Sturges if they'd be more comfortable! Seriously!:cool:

Billy;
Bitter? I'm having a great time, there is no bitterness here.

Chileice;

Billy;
Don't feel sorry for me. I'm living a nice life, filled with good friends, a loving family, financial security and a dog who worships me. What more could a man want?

Chileice;

Billy;
I am not here to advance the Gospel, at least not by preaching and being sappy like some people do. I am here to debate politics, mainly, and I have no problem arguing the idiocy of liberalism with the commies who come to this website. I don't have to be nice to them. I don't have to accept the socialist propaganda that they print here.

As far as spreading the Gospel, no, I don't quote the Bible very often or condemn people to hell. I do, however, demonstrate that there is more than one kind of Christian at this site and in this world. Christians don't have to be nice to everybody. Christians don't have to be Creationists. Christians can drink beer, smoke cigars and tell jokes. Christians can fight for what they believe in, own guns and readily kill if necessary.

Perhaps, through my example, a non-believer or two will see that there is more to Christianity than hating fags, demanding that Creationism is sound science, self righteous pride and constant condemnation for those whom they are sure will burn in Hell.

Chilece;

Billy;
I don't hate anybody here. You need to learn discernment.
