James 1:1 refutes MAD

James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. James 1:1

And that target audience would have been believing Jews from the twelve tribes seeing the unbelieving Jews from the twelve tribes would not have got past the name - LORD JESUS CHRIST!!

Did you see that formula - Dispensational unbeliever?

Believing Jews from the twelve tribes vs. unbelieving Jews from the twelve tribes.

I don't get the point.

There was a remnant of believing Israel within the main body of fleshly Israel.

Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: Rom. 9:27

MAD refuse to acknowledge any Israel except ethnic Israel.

The book of James is considered to be the earliest writing in the NT, at a time when the believing assembly was totally Jewish and the believing Jews were still zealous of the law Act 21:20 and gentiles were not even under consideration.

Act 21:20 And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:

Act 10:28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation;

Act 11:2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
Act 11:3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.

Act 11:19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to none but unto the Jews only.

So you fully admit that there were believing Jews from the 12 tribes as opposed to unbelieving Jews from the 12 tribes? Each tribe of Israel had believers and unbelievers mixed together. The believers came out and formed the church and the unbelievers stayed in the synagogues. Believing Jews would have been part of the body of Christ like Peter, Paul, James and John.

I agree with your first two paragraphs.
Do not understand the last one.

The body of Christ is made up of all believers in Christ i.e. believing Jews and believing Gentiles.

MAD reject this and say Israel is only Israel of the flesh and the body of Christ are only Gentile believers.

Of course.

No they don't, point blank. They believe the church started with Paul and Peter, James and John taught the gospel of the circumcision to Jews only. There is a hard and fast division between Jew and Gentile. I'll let others chime in because you seem to be an oddball.

You are totally confused because all of those in the Mid-Acts community have seen and believed the following verse which proves that the Body of Christ is made up of both Jews and Gentiles:

"For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit" (1 Cor.12:13).

So is the body of Christ and the church the same entity to MADists?
