"Do you not know that
to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey,
you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether
(slaves) of sin leading to (eternal) death, or
(slaves) of obedience leading to righteousness?
... so now present your members as
slaves of righteousness for holiness." (Romans 6:16-19, NKJV)

Translation ...
Believers who are slaves of sin, who are habitual unrepentant sinners,
are facing eternal death!
They have fallen from the faith, fallen from grace, etc.
Even though they may still be intellectual believers,
they certainly are no longer to be considered "faithful" believers.

Did you not feel wicked when you added the word "eternal" to death to make it say eternal death.

(6) And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Yes, we were called not according to any works we had done!
Happy now?
And now what? ... Is that all there is to it?
Please don't answer that.
Too embarrassing.

Ummm, James was writing to the 12 tribes of Israel, not the Body of Christ.

Paul was of the tribe of Benjamin, are you saying Paul was not part of the body of Christ? The body of Christ is the church.

A different sheep outfit you think? I sense some animosity from an earlier day. Probably had his pointy ears pulled last time he was here. :chuckle:

Dearest blind one ... 'tis by both that we can be saved.
(Sorry to tell you ... salvation is a life-long process.)
As James explained fully ... 'tis by faith and works both.
'Tis all through the NT, dearest blind one.

My only question is: who is more blind, you or our very own heir?

You haven't been here long enough to include yourself in "our very own anything. Or you're too cowardly to make yourself known. :idunno:

1)How many and what kind of sins cause one to "fall" from grace

2)Define grace

3) Do you keep your own salvation or does He keep it?

John 10:28
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

Philippians 1:6
And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

The more I study the NT the more WARNINGS I see, but all the while … most pastors are preaching GRACE!
You don't even know what the NT or the gospel of the grace of God are.

Most of the NT was written to born-again Christians in the churches, so many warnings were written to YOU (if indeed you are born-again).
The NT is for Israel. PERIOD!

However, most believers today are blind to them (for several reasons).
Dozens of verses WARN: If you choose to keep on sinning without serious confession and repentance (sincere regret and desire to change), you will fall from grace and forfeit your salvation!
What EXACTLY are these terms? Like "serious" confession?
Sounds like the typical made-up terms from someone "righteous" that does NOT understand what the Bible teaches.

You are a wrong divider.
