[Doctors could prescribe houses to homeless under radical Hawaii bill by Liz Barney | The Guardian] "Newly introduced bill would classify homelessness as a medical condition, as research suggests healthcare spending falls when people have been housed
by in Honolulu

One day last month, Stephen Williams asked a passerby for help and then collapsed on the sidewalk. When the ambulance arrived in downtown Honolulu, his temperature was well over 104F.

A life-threatening staph infection had entered his bloodstream. Williams, who lives on the dusty streets of Chinatown, spent seven days hooked to an IV, treatment that can cost $40,000, according to the hospital that admitted him. But Williams didn’t pay: the bill was covered by government dollars in the form of Medicaid. Over the past four years, he has been to the hospital for infections 21 times, he said, a consequence of psoriasis flare-ups in a humid climate and unsanitary conditions.

Cases such as these have prompted a groundbreaking new proposal in Hawaii. Instead of prescribing medication to homeless patients like Williams, what if doctors could prescribe something else that might ameliorate their health problems more effectively? The prescription would be housing..." Full text: Doctors could prescribe houses to homeless under radical Hawaii bill Mt 8:20

Something about do not steal that you don't get? :dizzy: Ex 20:15

Something about leaving people to freeze and die on the streets you find charitable?

Considering how much money is wasted on projects by governments then housing those in need of aid and shelter hardly strikes me as theft, but you keep on with that little drum. It makes a lot of noise but no substance...

Terrible idea.
Taxpayers have enough of a burden without generating more ideas of what to steal out of their pockets.

No. Does it say you should whine when initiatives are put forward to help those in need?

Who pays when you forward your ideas about theft? Ex 20:15 From where does Obama home and Obama phone money come? Government has no money that it didn't first take from another. Is it loving to rob your neighbor to fund the lifestyle you'd like? Jas 2:8

Something about do not steal that you don't get? :dizzy:
Maybe he understands that calling something stealing doesn't make it stealing.

Does the bible say that you are free to pick your neighbor's pocket because you're cold and don't have a woobie?
And the Bible demanded the people of God's original covenant withheld for the poor, even to a portion of their crops.

LOL...I guess that's about the closest you'll ever come to ridiculing Donald Trump.
Me not wanting to fund everyone's failures in life has nothing to do with my opinion of Trump, you blooming idiot.
I had the same desires before I even knew of Donald Trump, you moron.

I don't know why you ever thought your circular reasoning was ever a good way to argue a point, but it seems to be your favorite.

Any tax over ten percent is highway robbery (Lev. 27:32, 33).
You really shouldn't add to scripture. Anyway, that's not the standard Jesus gave to us or evidenced though, is it. That's the law. That's the minimum and you're like Trump, confusing it with a virtue.

The family and the church are your last source of help. Not government.
Those are all just names for groups of people. It's people looking to get out from under, rich young rulers of a sort, who try to parse them into the real significance.
