My Grandma did, lived in a small town for almost all of her life and would only vote Republican. Then she voted for Obama because she thought that Republicans would take away her social security.
Me and my family are also saving money for other people's health care, but this is diminishing after the passage and implementation of ObamaCare.
We are also saving money for other people's right to travel on public roads, enjoy police and fire protection, have a food bank or help the homeless. We also pay into the largest socialist institutions in America: the military.

No, no one that i know personally voted for Obama.
Any native speaker of English with a modicum of intelligence should recognize the idea that America is set up so that we can get together and pool our resources to make everyone comfortable.
Those that eschew empathizing with and helping others have the right to get defensive and angry about it.
But it's patently immoral according to Jesus.
The content I definitely changed, but the underlying framework or structure is the same:
The flow and circulation of resources and money to be used for everyone's benefit.
Sorry if that sounds socialist. Most people are unaware of the underlying socialist systems such as libraries or the military. And fewer still are aware that the FOX "News" Washington, D.C. editor was the first source of "Obama is a socialist" lie. Years later he admitted he knew it was a lie when he first mentioned it.
