Not so, as it seems to me, from what i know about the habits of Europeans, they dress better, and bathe as regular as North Americans.
Yes, in France, there is less concern over women's body hair. I am French, yet have very little light leg hair and really not noticeable under-arm hair.had a French Canadian classmate years ago during a summer class
the hairy legs when wearing shorts was bad enough, but when she raised her hand to answer a question while wearing a tank top?
The way I was raised, all girls shaved their legs, as boys shaved their face, then I came to see leg shaving was just an exercise, not worth any result.

When I served in the Navy in the 1950's, if you did not shower everyday you were taken to the shower and they used the scrub brushes to clean you.

my oldest went through a period of his adolescence when he seemed to equate bo with a badge of honor
i remember threatening to run him through the car wash with the top down
the younger boy discovered girls early and his adolescence had my house reeking of axe smell
Also they had a really good cry circa 1942 due to the great Brie Shortage.
I bet that's the beginning of a ponderous list of things associated, like hugging, ball room dancing...luge.

That's what I was thinking, too. So no story there probably.
Anyone who does anything has to be listened to and questioned in a focused manner to discover what the underlying intention might be.
I can, however, guess about these horrible acts:
1. Female genital mutilation: an attempt to provide a ritual to bring a person into the membership of the tribe. Young males are also often genital-mutilated by the tribal elders during a "graduation to adulthood" ceremony.
2.Genocide can be seen in the Bible as the way to separate and destroy the evil unbelievers from the pure Christians. It is a handy way to deal with our own suffering by acting it out on other people.
3.Child Pornography is simply material to feed the horrific sexual desires and acts of people who were sexually abused or sexually confused in their own past. They are simply immature monsters who are compelled to "return to the scene of the (original) crime" again and again. By their unspeakable acts, they may be trying to find the underlying reasons behind their adult behavior.
I for one always pay close attention to my own good intentions, but I never acknowledge the bad EFFECTS of those "good" intentions.
Too often we use dysfunctional and immature ways to express our intentions.
