No! It is not the freedom to go about doing whatever you please! It's freedom from the bondage of sin!

Yes. Whom the Son sets free are free indeed! Glad we agree, brother. ;)

Here's the bottom line: If I sin, it is in the flesh, not in the Spirit. I am a Christian in the Spirit, not in the flesh. Therefore, it is not the Christian in me who sins. Do you really not get this?

We do not get it because you are artificially dissecting the whole Christian and negating personal responsibility and freedom (Imago Dei).

By what law do we convict the christian of sin?

The unchanging moral law of God based on His unchanging character. Even secular society knows that murder and adultery are wrong or sinful. Showing your church membership card will not get you out of jail, nor will presuming on God's grace not leave God grieved. He will not be mocked. Thankfully, there is perfect provision for our sin, the Lord Jesus and His finished work.

But if the green monsters want to wear red dresses, who are we to stop them? It doesn't matter either way because everybody knows the hardware store closes at 7pm. :duh:

Ok.

The answer is definitely 35.

Unless of course the answer is 28.

If so, then it's definitely 28.

Unless it's something else.

That is imposable.

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.If a christian is as God is by an act of His and not of ours then how on earth can we violate God's character when ours is the same as His. Are you saying it is possible for God to sin? :

God does not sin. People do sin. Your proof text needs revisiting in the broader context. Unless you do not watch the news, believers/pastors have been caught in adultery, a sin. There is biblical discipline and restoration. To assume that adultery is not a sin or that these pastors were never Christians is simplistic and indefensible. To suggest that they continue in adultery is also mocking God and His Word.
