We believe as the scriptures teach, that those who were Chosen to Salvation Eph, 1:4; 1 Thes. 2:13; 2 Tim. 1:9 according to God's Purpose and Grace shall Believe by God Given Faith in New Birth Gal. 5:22. No other way!

So either Paul's teaching is false, or believing salvation precedes faith is false...but one of them is wrong.

The new birth comes by hearing and believing the Gospel, Galatians 3:2.

Which means that you have not been born again.

Of course Paul's teaching is correct: It's the Word of God!

But no one can hear the Gospel which is Spiritual 1 Cor 2:13 unless they are first given hearing ears in New Birth Prov. 20:12!

They must first be Born of God to Hear God's Words John 8:47!

HOGWASH!

Some of those that were converted to Christ on the day of Pentecost had participated in the crucifixion, Acts 2:23.

As usual you stand refuted again.

So let's see if Nanja makes sense.

Through Paul, God pleads with unbelievers to be reconciled to Him because if they don't, they're damned.

Yet the only way they could possibly even hear this plea is if God already made them alive in Christ, which enables them to hear it.

But only the raised-from-death saved are in Christ.

So if God already made them alive in Christ, then they're already reconciled, making their hearing, their faith and the saving Gospel a moot point. They're already safe in Him.

That's some cultic false gospel idiocy.

2 Cor. 5:19-20

19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

The Gospel call of reconciliation is an imperative, a command which is in the passive voice meaning that the command itself is instrumental in actually reconciling those the summons is issued to, the Saints, the Church of God Christ gave His Life for Eph. 5:25. And this command is certainly not to all men without exception, but only to a Forgiven, Redeemed World which was Justified by the Blood of Christ from Everlasting: No sin was charged to them, but to Christ Jesus their Surety Saviour instead Heb. 7:22; Is. 53:6. Therefore, they are accounted by God as Righteous, not by anything they do, or action they take, but solely by Christ's Blood alone:

Rom. 5:8-10

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

So these already reconciled to God by the Blood of Christ, in the Mind of God from Everlasting, must have it revealed to them in time by Faith given them in New Birth Gal. 5:22. Hence, Justification of Faith in Rom. 5:1. So yes, of course they had hearing ears that's why Paul, under the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit, declared it to them, otherwise they couldn't receive it 1 Cor 2:14.

God accounting them Righteous was not by anything they did or shall do in time, but because they were Chosen In Christ Jesus before the foundation to be holy and without blame before Him in Love, and to have forgiveness / remission of sins Eph. 1:4-7. So all the trespasses they commit in time, beginning with Adam Rom. 5:15 are forgiven.

Rom. 4:6-8

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

There is nothing in Ephesians 1:4-7 about anyone being predestinated to eternal life.

God chose all of humanity in his Son Jesus Christ. Not individuals. Jesus is the redeemer and reconciler of the whole world. "God was in Christ reconciling the WORLD, everyone (not certain individuals) to himself" 2 Corinthians 5

Jesus as God's new Adam has provided salvation for all of humanity so that, "Whosoever that shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13.

Those that have come to Christ as repentant sinners are predestinated to become the children of God, Ephesians 1:5.

We are made acceptable to God by the representative and substitutionary work of Christ. In our name and on our behalf Jesus fulfills the law and atones for our sins. We are made acceptable to God in Christ.

Now that you have been corrected, you are without an excuse.

I fully and completely accept all of the scriptures that you quoted. I believe the whole Bible, not just some of the bible. The scriptures that you quoted are falsely interpreted and are not according to the Gospel and justification by faith, which makes you a heretic.

In John 8:44 Jesus was speaking to the unbelieving Pharisees. You pull scripture out of context and try to make it fit your Calvinist doctrine. All scripture is for us, but not all scripture is to us. The Pharisees like yourself did not believe that Jesus was Lord. It was for this reason that they were condemned.

More nonsense from a spiritually blind man 2 Cor. 4:3-4!

The devil is the father of all the non-elect, whether jew or gentile.

Rom. 5:14
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

That's the serpent seed Gen. 3:14-15. Death reigned over them even though they were not involved in Adam's transgression, but are subject to eternal damnation as serpents:

Mat. 23:32-33

32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

They sinned in their father the devil:

John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

1 John 3:8
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

So for all the non-elect, the devil was their federal head and representative, and acted in their behalf whenever he sinned in the beginning.

1 John 3:10
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Mat. 13:38
The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

All scripture is Given by God for His Elect:

2 Tim. 3:16-17

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

God has ALREADY reconciled the whole world unto himself by Jesus Christ, 2 Corinthians 5:19.

No Calvinism needed.

It's you who has been blinded 2 Cor. 4:3-4!

God has reconciled the Whole World of His Elect: An Eternally Forgiven World:

2 Cor. 5:19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

But also, according to the scriptures, there is a non-elect condemned world!

1 Cor. 11:32
But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
