Why the stock and bond markets are not trustworthy.

In 2019 during the Kavanaugh hearings the government passed a new set of accounting rules that made all government financial transactions a black box. That means we can no longer trust anything the government says about spending, revenue, etc.... The Constitution mandates financial transparency but what happened during the Kavanaugh hearings mass hysteria kept the vast majority of people from understanding what had just been done to us by cooperation between both parties in Congress and Trump. The reason for all this was the discovery of trillions of dollars missing from the federal budget.

The accounting rules were changed by something called FASAB 56. It made all Federal government accounting incomprehensible by saying the government can deliberately lie to us in their financial reports with no consequences at all. This makes our debt levels, spending and revenue numbers, unemployment rates and inflation reports meaningless as the government can deliberately lie to us without any consequences.

This makes investing risks in the stock market completely unknown to us. We can't even tell what shape our economy is in without real numbers to use. So that makes investing in anything a very risky behavior because the economy could be collapsing underneath us and we would never know it because we don't know the state of the economy with any confidence.

Here is an article explaining FASAB 56 and how all it affects our lives.
