ECT WHAT IS MATT 16:26 REVEAL FOR TODAY ?

Hi to all , and what does salvation mean for today as Matt 16:26 says , " For what is a man PROFITED , if he ( or you ) shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul ?

#1 OR what shall a MAN give in Exchange for his Soul ?

#2 , Can this verse be applied for today ?

#3 , We see from verse 28 that by it's context is Jewish ?

#4 , The verb " GIVE/DIDOMI is in the Future Tense and does change how it will be Interpreted !

Of course the answer is a Rhetorical question , because there is Nothing you can do !

#5 , So if you can not give anything to save your Soul , how then you as a fleshly human say you can be LOST ??

Hi , and it means there is nothing that you can do to save your Soul !!

Man is helpless to save themselves , as no one can break free from sin , and we are redeemed by God , NEVER to be sold in the Market place of sin again .

The Greek EXAGORAZO/REDEEMED and means to buy out of bondage !

Hi and without Christ , all will be LOST and destined for the Lake of Fire , as many believe that HELL is just our imagination , or believe in Universal Reconciliation or Purgatory !!

Only one way to be saved today eph 2:8 !!
