They just want to declare that everyone has a mental illness so they can get rid of guns.
I think it is only for those who were INVOLUNTARILY admitted to a mental institution. I think the new bill takes that out though.

At what age does the 2nd Amendment allow unfettered gun possession?
The only "unfettered" gun protection in place is possessed by the government and criminals.
Both entities take what is not theirs with complete abandon.

School children have the constitutional right to self protection. I think knives and guns would help keep the children safe. Think of the children!
Either I have an innate right to protect myself or there is no point to being alive.
I do not need a government or a law to tell me how to survive.

Why draw the line at firearms?
Why not nerve gas spray cans? Anti-personnel mines? Open carry sabres with toxins on the blades? Hand grenades for those tricky self protection situations? Explosive shells for your fixed point home cannon?

That is true. Up to a point. But people keep quoting the Constitution to support their views. They ought to read it.

The 2nd Amendment makes no mention of age limits on gun ownership - are we now to assume that any restrictions based on age are unconstitutional?
