[FONT=Helvetica Neue, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]What mans religion dont know about the Gospel resurrection of Christ is that it has power, life producing power for all whom Christ died. See when Christ died it wasn't as a private individual, but as a Surety and Representative, as was Adam His type, when he died it wasnt as a private person, but as a r[/FONT][FONT=&quot]epresentative head, and so all Christ represented in His death for them, likewise did He in His Resurrection from the dead for them.

[/FONT]And its Power in the Resurrection of Christ, for it makes them alive or causes them to be born again 1 Pet 1:3

³ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Now according to Peter how where they begotten again ? Answer " by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead"

The word by is the greek prep dia and means:

1. the ground or reason by which something is or is not done
   
   1. by reason of
      
   2. on account of
      
   3. because of for this reason
      
   4. therefore
      
   5. on this account

They were begotten again on account of the resurrection of Christ from the dead.

The words begotten again in the original anagennaō is also translated born again as in 1 Pet 1:23

²³ Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

The ESV captures the truth of 1 Pet 1:3 quite well:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

of Christ !Simply this God caused us to be born again to a living hope through/on account of, the resurrection of Christ from the dead ! Thats an example of the Power of the Resurrection !

The Power of the Resurrection gives Elect sinners New Life. For once again the words begotten again 1 Pet 1:3

1. metaph. to have one's mind changed so that he lives a new life and one conformed to the will of God
   
   It produces a new life of repentance or gives a changed mind. The greek word for repentance means just that. Its the word metanoia:
   
   1. a change of mind, as it appears to one who repents, of a purpose he has formed or of something he has done
      
      So the new life of repentance, a change of mind is out of the Power of the Resurrection !

Because Christ's Sheep He died for John 10:11 were In Union with Him their Surety Saviour from Everlasting Heb. 7:22; Eph. 1:4, when He was risen from the dead as the Great Shepherd of the Sheep Heb. 13:20, they together with Him were risen to New Life 1 Thes. 5:10; Heb. 13:20; Rom. 4:25, and He was made unto His Sheep a Life Giving Spirit 1 Cor. 15:45. Therefore, their being begotten again / born again in time 1 Pet. 1:3 and Given repentance is a guaranteed result in all His Sheep 2 Pet. 3:9.
