After a rousing interaction with meshak, I am off to play some RIFT. You know, I shouldn't actively wish for a person's demise, but is it wrong of me to recognize that the world would be better off without them?
I wish there were RIFT novels. WoW has novels. I doubt the novels feel much like the game though:
"On her way, Berrachla noticed a chunk of iron ore protruding from a hillside several meters to her left. She altered her course for the ore and, on arriving, took out her pickaxe and gave the pick three mighty swings. She reached down to collect her reward--two chunks of iron ore. She placed the chunks with others like it in her backpack and moved on."
"Berrachla had killed the ogre. She waited several seconds for her wounds to heal, then cast about for another ogre to kill. This pattern repeated itself until she had killed a total of twelve ogres--no more, no less. Then, even though she could still see ogres on all sides, she turned toward town and fled."
Maybe I shouldn't wish for RIFT novels.
