I don't know about you guys, but if I am doing something wrong, and I don't realize it, I would WANT to have it pointed out to me so that I could work on remedying that particular area of my life. Now it is true that we don't like to be told that we are wrong, but that is just because of our sinful human pride. It says in Proverbs 12:1 that "Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid". It is true that rash or careless judgement is wrong, but we are called again and again in scripture to correct our brother in love.
