My Guy
Years ago when I was seeking a mate
I asked God to send me someone great.
Someone who could love & understand me
Someone to honor & to cherish; that would be the key.
Along came this guy, not at all what I expected
Handsome, tall. Don't know why, but I rejected.
He showed me that he is funny, sweet & smart...
Finally...he'd won my heart.
If it wasn't for his persistence
Our love might not be in existence.
After a small & simple wedding, our marriage began
Through the good times & the bad, I stayed content with this good man.
He means the world to me. My love for him will not diminsh.
He is loving & forgiving. Our love is sacred, it won't ever finish.
