Actually, overdose rates are up 700% in Grants Pass, population ~39K, based on a statement by Rep. Lily Morgan, a Republican from Grants Pass:

“Director, you’ve mentioned a couple of times that you’re waiting to see, and yet we have overdoses increasing at drastic rates, in my community a 700% increase in overdoses and a 120% increase in deaths,” Morgan told Allen.​

Here are the state stats:

Mortality data for 2021 are not yet complete, as a result numbers for recent months may change. Unintentional opioid overdose deaths in 2021 are higher than the corresponding months of 2020 and 2019. Totals by year are as follows:​
2019 unintentional opioid overdose deaths total 280.​
2020 unintentional opioid overdose deaths currently total 472.​
2021 unintentional opioid overdose deaths from January toOctober total 607.​
Meanwhile, West Virginia, which has not decriminalized possession, has made some headway against their record of the highest overdose rate in the nation, because:

It used to be easy to refer to the retarded policies of leftists as being the policies of retarded leftists. But at this point I think it's obvious that this is intentional. They WANT to destroy lives. They WANT to collapse our society.
