Ruminating on VDH's thoughts while driving back roads on a beautiful Northern New York afternoon and I came to the realization that the State of the Union is perfectly personified by the angry, dishonest and often incomprehensible corrupt politician ranting to the nation. The state of the union is angry, dishonest and often incomprehensible. And corrupt.


Joe the Rapist's version of the State of the Union is as follows: everything good, even the stuff I have to lie about, is because of me. Everything bad is because of the last guy.
