If you could download a App that allowed you to phone Galilee 2,000 years ago and speak to the Apostles. If you phoned them one evening and got through to Peter and asked how 'Jesus' was, Peter wouldn't have a clue who you were talking about. If you asked to be passed on to any of the others they would be equally clueless.

The term Jesus wasn't even in the KJV 1611 its a relatively modern name that was unheard of until the English alphabet had the letter J added in the middle ages.
