Jesus on Judgment

So what all did Jesus have to say about judgment?

Joh_5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Joh 7:22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man. Joh 7:23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day? Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

Mat_23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Notice that Jesus said that judgment, mercy and faith are matters having to do with the law. He tied mercy and judgment and mercy together.with the law. He also said to not judge from appearances but with righteous judgment.

He seems to have a much different idea of judgment than we humans do as He ties judgment directly to mercy. Think that's because we judge from appearances?

Mat 5:21 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ Mat 5:22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire. Mat 5:23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, Mat 5:24 leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

1Sa_16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”

Notice that Jesus tells us to be very careful about judging other people for we don't know what is in their heart. He goes so far as to say if we know that someone is holding something against us we need to go and apologize to them and then worship.
