"Be sober minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." 1 Peter 5:8
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." Ephesians 6:11
"...that by them you may wage the good warfare, holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this some have made a ship wreck of their faith." 1 Timothy 1:18-19
"Beloved as soujouners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul." 1 Peter 2:11
"...the evil one comes and snatched away what has been sown in his heart... ...the cares of this world and the deceifulness of riches choke the word." Matthew 13: 19&22
"I write these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you." 1 John 2:26
Being unaware of the war makes us vulnerable. The war is not only against unbelievers, but believers as well.
