It is no secret that money talks in Washington. It is also no secret that many politicians are for sale for the right price. That is how a 'poor coal miner from Scranton Pennsylvania' earned tens of millions of dollars from political corruption in DC in a few short decades. Democrats get funding for projects they have financial interests in and then skim millions of dollars off the top of the funding and everyone is happy except the taxpayers kept in the dark.

How? The same way politicians from both parties have gotten wealthy for decades. All this corruption is nothing new. It's just the obviousness of the corruption is now becoming exposed more and more. The US public is just now waking up to what has been business as usual for decades.
