Hi to all and since Christ DIVORCED Israel is He going to marry the Body of Christ ??

Christ married Israel and because of Israel Played the HARLOT God DIVORCED Israel in Jer 3:8 !!


2 Cor 11:2 reads , For I am BURNING with Zeal ( over ) you witha Zeal of God , for myself have Joined you to one MAN to present a Pure Virgin to Christ !!


Paul could present them to God because they were saved by Grace under Paul's Gospel and ministry and not by Repentance and Water Baptism by John !!

Paul says I have ESPOUSED / JOINED is not saying 2 Cor 11:2 is a MARRIAGE Ceremony !!

As Christ said, there is only one basis for divorce and remarriage: cheating. Apparently that is true on the grand scale of Israel as well.

Sorry the NT never uses or refers to that division of things. It never matters and it never figures. Paul just refers to Israel and means both parts. That is because that is how Jews who came back to the land in the 5th century BC thought of things from the return from Babylon forward.
