Jesus wasn't referring solely of adultery when He spoke of the only viable cause for divorce.

Come on.

GOD chose Jacob over Esau before they were ever born, before they did anything right or wrong at all.
It was pure election (ie. unmerited).
And GOD was going to fulfill every blessed promise He made no matter how badly Jacob screwed up. (Ooo, there's that 'unmerited' stuff again.)

We like to call it ..... grace.

Read Galatians 4:20-28 without the literal veil that as you thinking this is about two sibling in history when its a timeless event that happens in man! The kingdom of God you look outside for which is the veil that blinds you.
