ECT DID THE HOLY SPIRIT NOT DO IT'S JOB ??

Hi to all and in Acts 1:8 it reads , But you will receive power , the Holy Spirit , having come upon you , and you will be to Me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and even to the Extremes ( part ) of the earth !!

#1 , We know that they did receive the Holy Spirit at Pentecost !!

#2 , But in Acts 1:8 a verb " YE SHALL RECEIVE / LAMBANO is in the Greek FUTURE TENSE , MIDDLE VOICE AND IN THE INDICATIVE MOOD !!

#3 Why the FURURE TENSE , because Israel was to be set aside in about 40 years , 2 Cor 3:13-16 and Isa 6 and Luke 13:6-9 is just part of the PROOF !!

#4 But Acts 8:1 that the EKKLESIA / ASSEMBLY were scattered EXCEPT the Apostles !!


#5 , So , the 144,ooo will do the job of preaching to those Jew during the first part , 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation as they will NOT BE PREACHING TO GENTILES AT ALL !!

#6 , The thrid verb " YE SHALL BE " is also in the Greek FUTURE TENSE and in the INDICATIVE MOOD and this means it is a FACT !!

#7 Looks like a 2000 years GAP so far and counting !!

#8 What most do NOT SEE is that there is a bjg DIVIDE between Israel and the B O C !!

Because the fulfilment is prophesied by Joel, which was in the future. Peter quotes Joel in Acts 2. Jesus said (Acts 1) it would happen in the future (Acts 2).

Acts 1:8 is in the future tense because at the time of that statement that receiving of the holy spirit was yet future.

Ten days in the future.

It occurred on the day of Pentecost as described in Acts 2:1-4.

The evidence that they received it, lambano, received into manifestation, was that they, the twelve spoke in tongues.

That is the evidence that someone has received the gift of holy spirit/eternal life/salvation. They speak in tongues.

That is not to say that people who do not speak in tongues but have done Romans 10:9 are not saved, but as I said speaking in tongues is the irrefutable evidence that that have received the gift.

You could say you have $20 in your wallet, and maybe you do, but until someone sees it, there is no evidence that you do.

Hi and your THEORY is that God is still operating through Israel and the 12 apostles today ??

Have you read 2 Cot 3:13-14 that Israel is being set aside !!

Say YES or No !!

In 1 Cor 13:8 , Prophecies , TONGUES , gift of Knowledge / KATARGEO means doe away with !!
