What a good leader DeSantis is proving himself to be by standing up to popular myths and the democrats who stupidly support those myths and the liars who promote them.

DeSantis' campaign team announced on Twitter this week that fans could show their support for the conservative governor by purchasing gear online displaying the phrase, "Don't Fauci My Florida."
For $12, supporters can buy a navy blue koozie brandishing the slogan, or for $21, they can buy a black shirt displaying the phrase alongside a Florida logo.

Hospitals across Florida are now being pushed to the limit with ICU beds filling up and providers struggling to find enough staff to care for patients as the state fights one of the worst Covid-19 outbreaks in the nation, fueled by the highly contagious delta variant. Covid patients are now occupying nearly 200 of Tampa General Hospital's 1,041-beds as of Tuesday, according to data provided by the hospital, which serves western Florida and the greater Tampa Bay region. Sixty-one patients are in the ICU. The surge in patients, most of them unvaccinated, is causing a strain on the hospital's 8,000-plus member staff. Just over 90% of the state's ICU beds were in use as of Wednesday, almost half of them filled with Covid patients, according to HHS data.

DeSantis' policies have been "utterly irresponsible," said Lawrence Gostin, director of the World Health Organization's Collaborating Center on National and Global Health Law. He added It threatens to slow the entire nation's progress in ending the pandemic, especially as schools reopen and employers begin to bring workers back to the office this fall.

I can hardly be terrified by tainted leftist reports of sickness and hospitalizations when they do not mention the numbers who are dying and what the background causes of those deaths may be. If kids do not die from covid and very few adults die from the Delta variant then why all the hype to get vaccinated, especially since a large number of those hospitalized with covid had already been vaccinated before contracting covid?
