Conspiracy theories

The main idea behind the mockery of "conspiracy theories" is that conspiracies don't exist , Well, that's just flat out false. The fact that conspiracies exist, and have existed for a very long time is codified in US law.

First is the law against treason. Why does that acknowledge conspiracies exist? Because one person alone cannot overthrow a government. It takes a group of people conspiring together to have enough power and resources to overthrow a government. It's a common conspiracy world wide.

Second is the RICO Act. Here is a quote from that law.

The RICO statute expressly states that it is unlawful for any person to conspire to violate any of the subsections of 18 U.S.C.A. § 1962. The government need not prove that the defendant agreed with every other conspirator, knew all of the other conspirators, or had full knowledge of all the details of the conspiracy. Delano, 825 F. Supp. at 542. All that must be shown is: (1) that the defendant agreed to commit the substantive racketeering offense through agreeing to participate in two racketeering acts; (2) that he knew the general status of the conspiracy; and (3) that he knew the conspiracy extended beyond his individual role. United States v. Rastelli, 870 F. 2d 822, 828 (2d Cir.), cert. denied, 493 U.S. 982, 110 S. Ct. 515, 107 L. Ed. 2d 516 (1989).

This quote comes from the DOJ archives. https://www.justice.gov/archives/jm/criminal-resource-manual-109-rico-charges

So, when someone claims something is a "conspiracy theory" and thus has to be wrong, they are ignoring the strong evidence found in US law that conspiracies are common enough to be accounted for in law. What are some orgs that have been convicted of conspiring under the RICO Act?

The federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act “RICO” is often thought of as a law designed to combat the Mafia. While that is how the law was first primarily used and intended, it has been applied in cases involving organizations that few people would mistake for the Mafia, including Major League Baseball, the Key West Police Department and the Catholic Church. RICO creates criminal and civil penalties for members of organizations that engage in patterns of criminal activity.

What are other conspiracies down throughout history?

1. Absolom conspired against his father King David.
2. The Pharisees conspired against Jesus to both kill him and to reduce His influence upon the common man by always trying to trap Him with what they thought were airtight questions.
3. The devil has conspired against God. He convinced 1/3 of the angels he was telling the truth and his conspiracy got him kicked out of heaven along with his followers.
4. The devil has conspired against humanity since we humans were created. He's been lying to us about who God is ever since and most humans have bought into his conspiracy.
5. The Jews were constantly conspiring against Paul.

This is only a very small number of conspiracies the Bible tells us about, but it's enough to show the Bible says conspiracies are real.

The mockery comes where it relates to bat crazy paranoia surrounding them such as Sandy Hook and the like. I doubt anyone would be surprised to find out that there's been various nefarious goings on behind closed doors and some dark political chicanery in the works. That doesn't mean that there's a boogeyman around every corner which is how some of you lot act.
