Clay Travis and the WNBA

I put this in politics because everything is politics today. Couple days ago Clay Travis who I'd never heard of before but he's apparently a conservative political commentator and a "sports journalist". Anyhoo couple days ago he commented that any good state champion High School boys basketball team could beat the WNBA champions. There was some talk back and forth and he put a million dollars of his own money on it. Now more people are weighing in.

I haven't watched either YouTube video fully yet, hopefully the language is okay.

My take on it is the same as it has been for a long time now with the Megan Rapinoe controversy - women playing in women's sports aren't playing the same sport that men play. They're playing a woman's version of it. Similar to the sports that are played by children in school. As I have long said with Megan Rapinoe, there's nothing preventing her from trying out for the men's teams. Except her lack of ability. 😁

I hope this comes about just for the spectacle of it.
