What is it, - 70% of the people CALL Themselves Christians?? -- If it were only 1% of that who were "Christian"; - there would Be No "WAY" that Your - (( "Antichrist" )) "Obama" could do anything / "ANYTHING" what He's Doing. - "The Antichrist", can Only do - if there are No Christians to allow him to do it from the Spirit!!! -- BUT There is NOTHING to stop "The Antichrist" Now!! -- He has NO Interference at ALL!!! -- The Judgment is still ON!!!

The West is no longer "Christian." Ever since the early church got into bed with the Emperor Constantine and the Roman Empire we have become just another arm of the military industrial complex.

Jesus did not counsel anger, scapegoating or revenge. Any time you pick up the slightest hint of Jesus acting like a fallible human being, the words and actions were overlayed onto his life and death by the early church or the first evangelists.

Jesus has a unique "voiceprint." He used parables and metaphors to describe what he called the "Kingdom of God." If he utters any propositional theology or dogma, you can be sure that he is not "walking his talk."

If Jesus acted like every other petty human being, his first followers would have never declared him Son of God, Messiah or Christ!

Careful readers of the Bible know that "the Word of God" is filled with contradictions and discrepancies by those who cannot see Scripture as a human product written and collected over thousands of years by inspired prophets and chroniclers.

We do not possess any original texts. What we have are copies of copies of copies.

And if you cannot believe in a copy, you may have nothing left to believe in.

That's why, in my view, conservatives and fundamentalists feel they are in the grip of some metaphysical panic. They are as yet unable to see the richness and fullness of sacred metaphor as anything but literal.

If Jesus literally WAS "the Lamb of God," does that then mean that Mary had a little lamb?

Of course not!

It is a powerful metaphor that speaks of Jesus' purity and innocence and his willingness to become the "sacrificial lamb" for humankind's sins!
