Here is the reason (one of them) why I do not want Jeb Bush for president

I admit in advance that it may not be a FAIR reason. But this one thing bothers me immensely

his brother (NO, I don't subscribe to the Everything is Bush's Fault baloney)

but anyway, George W got a little too friendly with the Billmeister... as in Bill Clinton..

that bugs the crud out of me

he is supposed to be a Christian (GW). So why did he get friendly with someone who... well, need I list all the scandals?

The Bible says not to associate (much less closely) with unbelievers...

2 Cor. 6:14

Now, if Jeb Bush has not done the same as George..

I say this (as per Emily Latella):

"Nevvvvvverrrrrrr miiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnd"

I would challenge any candidate who feels they do not have an obligation to represent the WHOLE country (which includes other religions as well as non believers) to use this statement as the center point of their campaign.

Do you believe someone who states such would have a chance of getting elected?

Never let it be said that the Republicans have ever allowed the facts to interfere with their distorted perception of the world - particularly when it comes to religion.

The fact that the Chief of Staff of a two-term Republican president had to clear "every major move and decision" with Reagan's astrologer only reinforces just how gullible conservative Christians can be when it comes to believing that their leaders actually share their religious beliefs.

"Logical truth"

Jeb shouldn't thrill as a presidential candidate because George W "got a little too friendly with the billmeister". :hammer:

What does that have to do with Jeb?

What is a "biblican"

when the Rs hobnob w/ the Ds (really lib ones like Clinton)

they send a message

and the Rs don't like that message.. the message is that they will compromise..

and that is why we have an $18 trillion Debt..

and big government... all this insane compromising (w/ Satan)

Jesus said that his true followers would be "hated"

Clinton acts like he wants to be loved by everyone... Of course, it's just Clinton looking out for Numero Uno...

Hillary is not like that as much as he is... i'll give her that

Do you have a brother or sister?

And if so, should you be denied a job based on who they are friendly with?

(not that I want Bush either, but when I read the title of this thread I thought there might be a logical reason why not to be thrilled. Out of all the logical reasons that Jeb should not be president, this isn't one of them)

How is shunning one party going to help anything? Without compromise then government is useless

I don't want to upset possible republican voters by bashing their favorite candidate

in your stupid, subjective opinion

objectively speaking, Pres Clinton did FAR worse, objectively speaking as in

in God's view

If... as the Word tells us.. God HATES divorce (Malachi)

then how much must he also hate adultery

and how about pardoning criminals who get off just b/c they can PAY for their exoneration?
but hey, I know u libs have to stand up for one another no matter what any of u do..

Try explaining such things to God in the END

How absurd! Please! The irreparable damage Clinton did to the U.S. economy i.e. China is still being felt in this country or did you just think ole Bill's oval office activities were all he is culpable for. Invading Iraq was bought into by congress and Hillary voted yes as well so, don't be afraid to spread the wealth on Iraq. You can try to lay that on one man but, given the entire government was aligned before that decision ever took place, your point, is no point at all. Nice try though...
