The Gospel of the Kingdom or to the Church !

The Gospel of the Kingdom or to the Church !

The Gospel Ministry as to Salvation is only for select people, which is indicated here Eph 4:8-14

8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Now pay attention to Vs 11-12, all was given by the Resurrected and Ascended Head of the Church, even the Gift of Evangelism, along with the rest of the Work of Ministry, Preaching and Teaching, for the edification of the Body of Christ .

This word edification is the greek word oikodomē nd means:

(the act of) building, building up

2) metaph. edifying, edification

a) the act of one who promotes another's growth in Christian wisdom, piety, happiness, holiness

3) a building (i.e. the thing built, edifice)

But lets look a bit deeper at the word ! Its made up of Two words . One being oikos:

a house

a) an inhabited house, home

b) any building whatever

1) of a palace

2) the house of God, the tabernacle

c) any dwelling place

1) of the human body as the abode of demons that possess it

2) of tents, and huts, and later, of the nests, stalls, lairs, of animals

3) the place where one has fixed his residence, one's settled abode, domicile

2) the inmates of a house, all the persons forming one family, a household

a) the family of God, of the Christian Church, of the church of the Old and New Testaments

3) stock, family, descendants of one

And dōma :

1) a building, house

2) a part of a building, dining room, hall

3) house top, roof

a) the house tops of the Orientals were (and still are) level and frequented not only for walking, but also for meditation and prayer

Its the building up of the Family of God, The Spiritual seed or descendants of Jesus Christ as Per Isa 53:10

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

That word seed means:

offspring, descendants, posterity, children

The Gospel is sent out to Build Christ's Church r Kingdom Matt 16:18-19

18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

That word build in Matt 16:18 is the same greek word for edify in Eph 4:12.

The Work of the Ministry, the Work of Evangelism was for the Purpose of building up the spiritual descendants of Christ, His Body, which does include their Faith in the Son of God Vs 13.

No sooner Paul was converted He began to Preach this Acts 9:20

And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

Before him Phillip doing the Work of an Evangelist, was directed of the Spirit here Acts 8:37

And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God

The Eunuch was spiritually prepared for that edifying Gospel Message because he was one of the spiritual descendants of Christ Isa 53:10

So God used the gifted Evangelist Phillip to bring the Ethiopian into the Unity of the Faith and of the Knowledge of the Son of God ! The Eunuch was of Christ's Spiritual Kingdom and needed edification !

For in order to attain the Unity of the Faith of the Son of God, there must be first given Faith in the Son of God unto all His Members or Seed or Generation !

Reasons for New Birth before Faith !

Reasons for New Birth before Faith !

One of the reasons one needs to be born again in order to believe the Gospel, its because within, the deep things of God are proclaimed !

The deep things of God have to do with His Counsels, things deep and involve the Mind of God. Paul is referring to the Gospel of God's Grace when He writes in Acts, Acts 20:24-27

24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

The counsel of His Own Will in His Chosen Salvation Eph 1:11-13

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Paul here is rehearsing the Things He Preached in the Gospel of their Salvation. Remember, Paul was speaking to the Ephesian Elders in Acts 20:24-27. So when He said to them when Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace, He did not shun to declare all the Counsel of God, then He meant what he wrote in Eph 1:11, this confirms that what He wrote in that Epistle Chapters 1-3 pertained to the Gospel of God's Grace or of His Kingdom !

Included in these deep things of God,the counsels of predestination and election were included Eph 1:3-6,and these are things that the Gospel reveals, and so must the Spirit 1 Cor 2:6-14

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Paul here is speaking of the Gospel, The Wisdom of God in a Mystery !

This Gospel, this Wisdom of God in a Mystery is not received by or cannot be understood by the Natural Man !

Better to say what the Lord says than Paul.

The Lord says this;

The Lord shall come, and all his holy ones with him.
On that day there shall no longer be cold or frost.
There shall be one continuous day, known to the Lord, not day and night, for in the evening time there shall be light.
On that day, living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea, and half to the western sea, and it shall be so in summer and in winter.
The Lord shall become king over the whole earth; on that day the Lord shall be the only one, and his name the only one.

A great King am I, says the Lord of hosts, and my name will be feared among the nations.

I hate divorce, says the Lord, the God of Israel, And covering one's garment with injustice, says the Lord of hosts.

Don’t my words promise good to those who walks uprightly?

Surely the Lord God does nothing, without revealing his plans to his servants the prophets.

Rend your hearts, not your garments, and return to the Lord, your God. For gracious and merciful is he, slow to anger, rich in kindness, and relenting in punishment.

Sow justice, reap faithfulness; Break up for yourselves a new field, for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain down justice upon you."

Return to God, observe goodness and justice and wait on your God continually.

Let him who is wise understand these things; let him who is prudent know them. Straight are the paths of the Lord, in them the just walk, but sinners stumble in them.

I will go back to my place until they pay for their guilt and seek my presence. "

Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom !

Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom !

The Gospel of the Kingdom is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, no difference at all ! Its all about His Person and Work. When we Preach the Name of Jesus Christ, we preach the Gospel of the Kingdom as per indicated here Acts 8:12

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Now during this time none were baptized but such as the Lord added to the Church. Acts 2:41-47

41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;

45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Whose name were they baptized in ? Acts 2:38

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Whose name was Philip preaching concerning ? Acts 8:12

12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Was what Philip preached restricted to jews ? No, for the Spirit led him to preach Christ to a gentile also Acts 8:26-38

26 And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.

27 And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship,

28 Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:

33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. This was no different Jesus than he preached back up in Vs 12 !

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? This no different baptism than from Vs 12 !

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

Philip baptized this ethiopian for the same reason he baptized those back in Vs 12 which was "when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

To preach good tidings unto the meek !

To preach good tidings unto the meek !

We know that the Gospel when it comes to Salvation and Deliverance was only preached to a very specific people [ though they were subject to be world wide] as Per Isa 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.

Notice to whom good tidings [Gospel] was to be preached unto ! Scripture says the meek . The word meek is the hebrew word `anav
and means:

poor, humble, afflicted, meek

a) poor, needy

b) poor and weak

c) poor, weak and afflicted

d) humble, lowly, meek

Jesus alludes to this Passage here in Lk 4 and states that the good news is preached to the poor Lk 4:17-18

17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

The word poor here is the greek word ptóchos and means:

reduced to beggary, begging, asking alms

2) destitute of wealth, influence, position, honour

a) lowly, afflicted, destitute of the Christian virtues and eternal riches

b) helpless, powerless to accomplish an end

c) poor, needy

3) lacking in anything

a) as respects their spirit

1) destitute of wealth of learning and intellectual culture which the schools afford (men of this class most readily give themselves up to Christ's teaching and proved them selves fitted to lay hold of the heavenly treasure)

Jesus describes this Character here Matt 5:3

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Now are all men without exception in this character ? Of course not, and so the Gospel of good tidings is not intended for such who are not.

God does not send the Word of Salvation to hard hearted sinners like these Acts 7:51-52

51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:

The poor in spirit are those whom by Divine Grace have been made sensible to their spiritual poverty and destitution. The opposite are those who are poor but are not sensible to it like here Rev 3:17

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

You see that ? The issue is bad when they KNOW NOT they are poor, thats not being poor in spirit Matt 5:3 and thats not whom the Gospel is preached to by the Holy Spirit sent preacher !

Those who are truly poor in spirit by being made sensible of it by the Spirit, the promise to them is theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven !

And so when the Gospel comes to them, its the Gospel of their Salvation !

The Kingdom of God is about Jesus Christ !

The Kingdom of God is about Jesus Christ !

Lk 11:20

20 But if I [The Lord Jesus Christ] with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

The Kingdom of God was not some jewish therocacy whereby ethnic jews would be delivered from their oppressors and they rule the world under the son of david forever ! No, the Kingdom of God, the Lord Jesus Christ was not of this World Jn 18:36

Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

God's Kingdom and His Son's is and always has been a spiritual kingdom Rom 14:17

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

The Gospel of this Kingdom is spiritual and concernes the Lord Jesus Christ

Acts 8:12

But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Acts 28:23,31

And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Christ's Kingdom and Work was to come into the World and Destroy the Works of the Devil for all God's Elect or for all the Children of God. Heb 2:14

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

1 Jn 3:8

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Lk 1:68-77

68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our[spiritual] enemies might serve him without fear,

Heb 2:15

15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Preaching the Gospel !

Those who have been called by God to Preach the Gospel of Good Things, they have not been called to preach the law and duties,or the performing of deeds to get saved, or to instruct people on how to live their lives, coupled with promises and threats for non compliance to it; No to Preach is to publish, to declare, to make known,to set forth, to make known facts of that which has been done.

Peace with God is to be Preached as something done, accomplished by the Work of Christ, and not something that is conditioned upon if whether or not you keep a command of some sort Eph 2:14-17

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Acts 10:36

The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all )

This is not an offer of Peace with God, if you do this or that, its made available, but its informing you of the Good News that you have Peace with God through Jesus Christ.

When God sends His Gospel of Peace to certain Hearers, its to inform them of an established fact that belongs to them !

The Peace was made by the Blood of His Cross for those Christ died for.

Col 1:20-23

20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

The Gospel of the Kingdom !

The Gospel of the Kingdom !

Why is Preaching the Gospel of Christ the same as Preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God ? For it is by this Preaching Christ and Him Crucified, His finished work, those He died for are turned from the Power of Darkness or satan unto the Kingdom of God's Dear Son.

Acts 26:18

18 To open their eyes [By preaching the Gospel to them], and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Col 1:13

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

And then begins the edification and establishing of the Saints in the Kingdom Acts 20:24-25

Acts 28:31

31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Paul's Testifying of the Gospel and Kingdom was to all who came to him, which did include jew and gentile Acts 28:28

28 Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

29 And when he had said these words, the Jews departed, and had great reasoning among themselves.

30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,

31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace !

Ats 20:24

24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

There is no question, that in preaching or testifying to the Gospel of God's Grace, we testify to that which constitutes the Praise of the Glory of His Grace

Eph 1:4-6

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Also to the Riches of His Grace Eph 1:7

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Now such Truth of the Gospel that brings Glory and Praise o God's Grace is Election, to have been Chosen in Christ [by Grace] before the foundation of the World Eph 1:4

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Which is also called the Election of Grace Rom 11:5

5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Now let it be made perfectly clear, Election or being Chosen makes no sense at all, if there be not some that are not chosen.

You must have the Election and then the Rest that obviously are not of the Election as seen here Rom 11:7

7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

All mankind without exception cannot be God's Chosen. There is an exclusiveness in being God's Chosen as Illustrated here Deut 7:6-7

6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

7 The Lord did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

His Love for His Chosen is also Exclusive ! Thats the Election of Grace, it can only be Grace when it constitutes a remnant out of the Whole.

That must be made clear when testifying of the Gospel of Grace, or it becomes a false witness of the Gospel !

Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace ! 2

Election of Grace is only when the Chosen ones constitute a remnant of the whole . All ethnic jews were not of God's remnant of the Election of Grace Isa 1:9

9 Except the Lord of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

Rom 9:27

27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel[National], Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

Matt 22:14

14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

The same is True of the Gentiles, all Gentiles are not of that remnant that God chose out of them for His Name Acts 15:14,17

14 Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

Please notice Vs 14 God will visit the Gentiles [Nations] in general but only to take out from them a remnant, a people for His Name, Cp with Deut 7:6

For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

Isa 43:20-21

20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people [Gentiles], my chosen.

21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. See 1 Pet 2:9

They all belong to His Election of Grace, Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the World, and so sorry, We cannot and do not Preach a Gospel of Grace if its not made clear that some are excluded from God's Grace, for all cannot be the Election of Grace !

Now being of God's Election, it means all those people amongst mankind, from Adam to the end of the World, that were Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the World, before all time began, Chosen to be Holy and without blame before Him[God] in Love, and not because of any works, performances or acts of their own doing, but by the Redemption and Remission of sins through Jesus Christ Blood !

Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace ! 3

Once again, another Truth that is to the Glory of God's Grace, and or to the riches of His Grace, it is that the Chosen are predestinated to the adoption of children by Jesus Christ Eph 1:5-6

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

That word children Vs 5 is uios Son, to the adoption or to be placed as Sons.

This Sonship is by Jesus Christ as to Faith in Christ Gal 3:26

26 For ye are all the children[Sons] of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

Note: The OT Saints are also Son's of God by Adoption through Jesus Christ !

Yes appointed before time began to be God's Children by Adoption; And if there had not been some that were excluded from this Blessing of Grace, it would not have been to the Praise of the Glory of His Grace !

2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.

5 Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the Lord thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.

6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Those that are the Poor in Spirit, The Meek, now those that thirst, these are they that exhibit in them, the Gracious Workmanship of God the Spirit. The word thirsteth Vs 1 is the hebrew word tsame:

to be thirsty

To suffer thirst ! To desire eagerly

Ps 42:1-2

As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

The only Soul that thirsteth after the Living God is a Living Soul, living Spiritually !

For God the Spirit, He according to the Purpose of Election, Sovereignly sets apart from amongst the Nations of the World, a People Chosen by God to shew forth His Praises ! This People, Notice is to everyone that thirsteth, for you see Natural thirst is an evidence of natural life, and so likewise Spiritual Thirst is an evidence of Spiritual Life. The imperative in Vs 1

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Its to those that are exhibiting or do have Spiritual Life. Those who do Hunger and Thirst after Righteousness show a good sign that their Risen Saviour has given Life [spiritual] to a once dead sinner I Cor 15:45

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Eph 2:1,5

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved )

Remember Jesus words Jn 5:21

21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

And it is these quickened ones by the Son that begins to Hunger and Thirst after Righteousness, and Isa 55:1 is addressed to them Only ! as well as the Gospel is sent to them only for Salvation !

Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace, no offer !

Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace, no offer !

Many in our day and time are not Preaching the Gospel of God's Grace, but another gospel. For one of the ways a man of God can tell the difference between a True Gospel and false one, or another one, is when its being articulated that God's Grace, or God's Son is an offer, for that is merely a witty invention of depraved men, reprobated of the Truth. The Word Offer in its scriptural usage, is not used in any other sense but that of a Sacrifice, as in a Offering ! For sure, Christ was a Offering, but not unto depraved men and women, but to the Law and Justice of God, and in that sense He was offered as an Gift to God as the priests of old use to do Heb 8:3

3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

Heb 10:11-12

11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Now its no where indicated or stated that after the High Priest makes the offering of the Gift or Sacrifice, that he then must offer it to the people [Israel] to see if they will accept the Offer or Gift before it can benefit them. Today's false, Antichrist teachings and followers do lie, by saying that Christ is offered to all mankind or His Grace, and now its up to mankind to accept it before it can be of any benefit to them for the saving of their souls from sin !

The Gospel of God's Grace, no offer ! 2

The Gospel of God's Grace, no offer ! 2

That men offer grace as to make it available to all without exception, they are false witnesses, for Grace unto Salvation is not one time in all of scripture said to be offered Titus 2:11, for it just another wicked invention of men under the control of the devil. Grace is no more offered or made available to men than death was offered to men, as to whether or not they want to accept it or no. Who can not accept death ? Then who can reject Grace that is made effectual by Jesus Christ unto all those He represented Per Rom 5:17,21

17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Now who are the They who receive abundant of Grace ? Why its Christ's Body the Church Jn 1:16

16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. See Eph 1:23

And Rom 5:21

21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Now, just as by God's Power He caused sin and death to reign because of Adam's one trespass, so likewise by Christ's one act of Righteousness, He by His Power causes Grace to reign unto Eternal Life by Jesus Christ our Lord. Now understand, not in any way was death an offer made by God to mankind in Adam, as to whether or not they wanted to accept it or no, IT REIGNED UNTO THEM, They received it by the Hand of God, and so likewise, there never has been any offer of Grace to All Mankind in Adam o receive it or reject it in Christ, they also receive it because IT REIGNS UNTO THEM, they receive it by the Hand of God, Just as death was given them, Grace is Given [not offered] ;those who are not careful to maintain the balance of this Truth, are false teaching and are not of God, beware ! For Grace Reigns no less than death reigned !

Preached to the ones born again !

Preached to the ones born again !

James 1:18

18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

When the Gospel, the word of Truth is preached to one who is already born again, its to them that Call of the Gospel that brings forth that immortal life.

Notice, by His own will, God brings forth [as from the womb] by the Word of Truth, which is the Gospel of our salvation Eph 1:13

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

The Gospel here brings forth, produces, makes evident a New Birth, the New Life must already exist before it is brought forth.

In the same manner as the New Life of the babe must exist already before it is brought forth from the Womb !

So Paul could say to them He Preached the Gospel to that were born again already this 1 Cor 4:15

15 For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel[The Word of Truth].

Preaching the Gospel !

When the Gospel is preached to the ones its appointed to as a word of Salvation as Per Isa 61:1, one of the good tidings preached to them is the forgiveness of sins Acts 13:38

38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

The word preached here kataggellō t means:

to announce, declare, promulgate, make known

2) to proclaim publicly, publish

It was being made known to them, the forgiveness of sins. Its not being offered to them, nor is it being made available if only you accept it, but by the power of the Spirit attending the Preached Word, its being declared to them, made known to them.

Paul had started in Vs 26

26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

The Word of their forgiveness of sins. God sent them a message of Salvation.God did not send them a offer of Salvation. Notice also to whom specifically this Word of Salvation is sent unto #1. Men of Israel and #2 You that fear God !

To them he says Listen, or hear ye the Word of the Lord. The Natural man is not one who fears God, Rom 3:18

18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.

But the Word of Salvation, the Gospel is sent to them that fear God Acts 13:26

26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

And the word sent here means: ordered, to go to a appointed place. The Gospel as a Word of Salvation is sent to where God appoints it, to make known to those who fear Him their Salvation and forgiveness of sins !

And when God sends it to them, they shall hear it ! Acts 28:28

Be it known therefore unto you, that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles, and that they will hear it.

Preaching Particular Redemption !

Preaching Particular Redemption !

We fail miserably to Preach the Gospel of Salvation, of Christ and His Kingdom and Grace,if we do not preach particular redemption. That there were a certain number that God knew, that Christ knew Matt 7:23, which the Father also Loved, as He Loved Christ Jn 17:23-24, which are called, ,the children which God hath given me Heb 2:13

13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God hath given me. See Also Jn 17:2 !

And it was for their cause, that they [The children] took on flesh and blood, He also the same, that He might deliver THE CHILDREN Heb 2:14-15

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Which also are His Generation or seed Isa 53:10

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him; he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

See also Ps 22:30

KJ 2000 Bible A posterity shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

Now this deliverance of the very same children of Heb 2:14-15, Paul relates to it here Gal 1:4

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

Notice Paul writes Deliver according to the will of God and OUR Father !

Hence, the deliverance of God's Children ! That is particular redemption, that must be preached in the True Gospel. Christ declares the Fathers name, the Gospel, not to all without exception, but to His brethren Heb 2:12

12 Saying, I will declare[bring tidings] thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.
Which are the many brethren of Rom 8:29

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Preaching is not a Offer !

Preaching is not a Offer !

For Preaching Salvation and a bogus offering of Salvation are not the same, but entirely different. To offer something falls desperately short of proclaiming something that is a fact; for a offer by its nature is only brought to a certain point and layed down, and it is not yet yours unless you make the effort to accept it, whereas in preaching to the saved, the thing proclaimed or preached unto you is by the power of the Holy Spirit applied to your mind and heart in order to bring assurance, and experiential joy and peace. 1 Thess 1:5

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

That word assurance is from the greek word plērophoreō and means:

to fill one with any thought, conviction, or inclination

1) to make one certain, to persuade, convince one

2) to be persuaded, persuaded, fully convinced or assured

Its used in Rom 4:21

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

That actually is the producing of Faith or believing, for basically to believe is to be persuaded:

to think to be true, to be persuaded of, to credit, place confidence in

Now this persuasion of mind that facts are True which are proclaimed in the Gospel, cannot occur if all preaching was just an offer to someone !

Those who preach and say they offer Salvation or offer Christ are false preachers and witnesses !

Preached to the Living !

Preached to the Living !

When the Gospel is preached to God's Elect that are spiritually alive by quickening from Christ , their Living Head and Saviour 1 Cor 15:45

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

They do believe as they have been ordained to. 1 Tim 3:16

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

1 Cor 15:11

11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

Acts 15:7

7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear[spiritually] the word of the gospel, and believe.

1 Cor 3:5

5 Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

The Preaching of the Gospel is actually a means of edifying the Living Body of Christ Eph 4:11-12

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

You see that ? The Evangelist was given to the Body of Christ for its Edification. Now what is the function of the The Evangelist ?

The word means:

a bringer of good tidings, an evangelist

2) the name given to the NT heralds of salvation through Christ who are not apostles

They were used by God to bring to the made alive sinners, the good news of their Salvation.

Remember Philip was an Evangelist as Per Acts 21:8 and recall that God directed him to one who was spiritually inquiring of the things of God, the Eunuch Acts 8:26-35

God used Philip to edify this man, by brining him into belief of the Truth of His Salvation through Christ !

The eunuch was one of the meek that the Good News is Preached to Isa 61:1

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

An Evangelist, Apostle or Gospel Preacher are extensions of whom Christ tends to Preach the Gospel unto, His Body the Church , the Meek !
