Perhaps there is an "end side" of the Universe? Where the physical material things stop and the Spiritual realm begins? God (The Word: God the Son) created ALL things in the beginning. Since we can't see the extent of the universe with our telescopes etc, how can we be certain there isn't an end to all of the created parts of the universe? Like I previously mentioned, maybe the physical realm ends where the Spiritual realm begins?
Of course, it's all speculation/theory? The Spiritual end of the universe cannot be made up of physical material, it can't be seen, felt, smelled, heard, by our senses obviously. We can look through our telescopes and see the material parts that make up God's creation, however, we are limited to what can be seen. There just might be an end to what is physical? (creation) We're limited by our senses: "See, hear, touch, and smell. Beyond our senses lies things we cannot see, hear, smell and touch.
The Bible states in Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." This speaks of an invisible realm that co-exists with our physical realm. Our finite minds can't perceive of this spiritual realm, although it runs parallel with our own existence. Things that are happening in the spiritual realm do affect us in the phsyical, material world in which we live. Example: When we pray, God answers our prayers according to His will for us. According to that verse of Scripture I added, we are also affected by negative forces that dwell in the "unseen world."
We are constrained by the element of time whereas the Bible states in 2 Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." Therefore, we must conclude that God, in His Spiritual realm isn't constrained by any time element. We, as human beings are prisoners of the clock. Even the length of our lives is controlled by the clock. Hebrews 9:27 states: "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" we have a designated time that, dictates when we leave this mortal existence and enter the Spiritual realm. WE only have a certain amount of seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years to exist on earth.
In conclusion, we are limited in our knowledge about God's creation. Eternity has no beginning or end. However, is there an end to God's material universe? Maybe or maybe not? The Bible speaks of a time when the stars will fall from the sky and there will be a "New Heaven and a new earth." In Revelation 6:14 it states: "And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places." We can gather from this verse that someday things are going to change drastically, it will not only affect the earth but, the Heavens as well. Perhaps the Heavens spoken of here means, the material universe as we know it?
