The Greek word LEAVING / APHIEMI has the meaning to LEAVE , FORSAKE , DEPART , DISREGARD , LET ALONE !!

The next Greek verb is LET US GO ON / PHERO and is in the PRESENT TENSE , PASSIVE VOICE and in the SUBJECTIVE MOOD !!

It is OBVIOUSLY , that Hebrews was not yet written and it is to be read during the period of JACOB<S TROUBLE !!

The verse verse is controlled by the Subjective mood of possibility as to whether they will believe this verse or not , like many of the Baptizers and Pentecostals of today !!

The third verb is LAYING / KATABALLO again the foundation of REPENTANCE from dead works and of FAITH / PISTIS toward God !!

For the word FAITH , READ Heb 4:2 !!


We are NOT only to FORSAKE the teaching of the earthly Jesus , BUT also to forsake the DOCTRINE of BAPTISMS / BAPTISMOS of \ WASHINGS , Purification !!

We see that in Mark 7:4-8 WASHED their cups , pots , and beds or couches and washed / BAPTISMOS before eating and this is about Judaism and not Christianity !!

Hi and what WE are you talking about and much controversy as to when Hebrews was written , so what , it was written and many say before 70 AD !!

I believe it is written for those during Jacob's Trouble !!

Hi and I meant , was it written for Jews or written for the B O C BUT there is much scripture , that refutes PENTECOSTALISM , LIKE 2 Cor 3:13-15 , and Heb 6:1-6 , 8:8 , 9:15 just to mention a few !!
