ECT Religion is a mask

Religion can tell me, “I’m OK!” but, by it’s man-centered “liturgical programing”, designed for "church worship", cannot satisfy the hearts desire of that one who is truly searching for peace and security and intimacy in the eternal __ there are too many spiritual inconsistencies that can't be reconciled.


The contrast:

Christianity is a Person Who said: "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me". John 12:32

A simple exercise but requires a relationship with Him to perform it in the narrow way it demands.

Religion means "worship." So as a Christian I must be careful to worship God and live His Word.

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world" (James 1:27).

The world/Satan wants to tempt me to be of the flesh and accept its lies. I need God and His Word/Truth to fight against it.
