Yes, they remain cursed because God's Wrath has not been appeased for them by Christ's death. Consequently, they remain under the law, the covenant of works, and shall be judged accordingly Jas. 2:10; Gal. 3:10 and be condemned to the second death.

Unbelief is the root cause of all sin so all sins(plural) spring from the one sin of unbelief. One of the most powerful promises in the new covenant is that God has forgiven our iniquity and remembered our sins no more. If Christians believed this one promise all the confessional booths in all the high and mighty churches around the world would be shuttered over night, there would be no need for them. The one sin that never gets confessed in any confessional booth is the sin of unbelief where men refuse to believe the good news that all sin has been forgiven in Christ and it was forgiven before it was confessed.

Amen, and it's the exact same regeneration that God's Elect Abraham experienced and was given Faith, a fruit of the Spirit Gal. 5:22, to Believe in an Heavenly Inheritance Heb. 11:8, 16.

Abraham and his Spiritual Seed are the Seed of Christ Gal. 3:16, 29, Chosen In Union with Him to have remission / forgiveness of sins and redemption by His Blood from the curse of the Law to an Eternal Inheritance, even before the foundation of the world Eph. 1:4-11.
