Yes, Peter loosed in Gal 2/Acts 15 and therefore there is currently no binding per that instruction.

You make it sound like Peter gets to run God. WRONG.

Jesus described hell as an unquenchable fire(Matthew 3:12), a place of eternal fire,(Matthew 25:41) eternal punishment(Matthew 25:46), and as a place of torment, fire, and agony(Luke 16:23-24). Jesus taught specifically about hell many times in his ministry (Matthew 5:22, 29-30; 10:28; 18:9; 23:15,33; Mark 9:43-47; Luke 12:6; 16:23).
That is ALL completely IRRELEVANT to the issue at hand.

You are all over the place. Please SHOW us how "prison" is "Hell". The Bible does NOT say that.

Also please reconcile these two statements of yours:
  • No. Jesus' body was in Hell.
  • No, not Jesus' BODY. Jesus' Spirit went to prison/Hell/Hades.

Those are two CONTRADICTORY statements. Good luck.

Where did I ever say Jesus' BODY went to Hell?

Jesus' SPIRIT went to Hell. Our bodies go to the ground. Our spirits either go to prison/Hell/Hades; or paradise/Heaven.

Then you need to be more explicit in your meaning.

What do you expect us to be, mind-readers?

When you simply write: "Jesus' body was in Hell", are we supposed to know what's in your head?

Sometimes people here come in way after the discussions have started.

Please allow for that and know that a kind and humble heart will reach further than any other kind.

Perhaps you need to read this story:

Luke 16:19-31 (AKJV/PCE)
(16:19) ¶ There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: (16:20) And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, (16:21) And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. (16:22) And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; (16:23) And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (16:24) And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. (16:25) But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. (16:26) And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that [would come] from thence. (16:27) Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: (16:28) For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. (16:29) Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. (16:30) And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. (16:31) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Jesus' body is about his Spiritual body, not physical body.
Are you talking about 1st Corinthians 15:44, or do you mean "spiritual body" in some other way?

My understanding is that our Lord died a natural body and that He wasn't a spiritual body until He rose from the dead.

And spiritual body doesn't mean immaterial since He was still flesh and bones. Luke 24:39

I read that scripture, and I understand.

Jesus is hope for everyone, even after they have died and went to prison/Hell/Hades.

The time to dread and rejoice, is the time Jesus comes back, for that is the time Jesus stops interceding. Jesus stops interceding when he comes again.

The story about Lazarus is about a warning, about the ultimate warning for now, and when, and in the very end.

One might have to stay in prison until Jesus comes again. But that does not mean when Jesus comes again they will not be saved.

However, let us be saved now.

Where in that parable to you read that the rich man gets a second chance?

Jesus preached the gospel to them, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit (1 Peter 4:5-6).

Those in prison/Hell can still have the chance t live according to God.
