1Kgs 16:28-33 (AKJV/PCE)
(16:28) So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria: and Ahab his son reigned in his stead. (16:29) ¶ And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years. (16:30) And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that [were] before him. (16:31) And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. (16:32) And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria. (16:33) And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

Where did you get that crazy idea?

After Jesus was crucified, he preached to those who were dead, he preached to the spirits in prison, the spirits of those who had died and disobeyed long ago (see 1 Peter 3:18-19). Those people who disobeyed and died before learning of Jesus...Jesus preached the gospel to them, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit (1 Peter 4:5-6). For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring us to God, even those who lived and died before Jesus.

You ignore the truth that dead people do not go on living---in ANY form. Dead means dead. You advocate another part of us that doesn't really die but goes on living. That is Satan's lie.

"The dead know nothing." (Ecclesiastes 9:5)

You are badly mistaken.

God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

So you think that it was Jesus' body that went and preached to them?

So you think that "prison" means "Hell"?

Why would people that have not yet been judged be in Hell?

Right Divider,

I am glad you want to discuss the scriptures, except that you need to address the scriptures and not avoid them.

Address the scriptures I already gave that SAYS Jesus died and then went to prison to preach the gospel.

No, not Jesus' BODY. Jesus' Spirit went to prison/Hell/Hades.

That is right, prison is Hell and Hades. It is a the opposite of paradise.

You would have to give the scripture you are confused about.
Please demonstrate that "prison" means "Hell".

You said that " Jesus' body was in Hell."

So which is it? Make up your mind.

Jesus described hell as an unquenchable fire(Matthew 3:12), a place of eternal fire,(Matthew 25:41) eternal punishment(Matthew 25:46), and as a place of torment, fire, and agony(Luke 16:23-24). Jesus taught specifically about hell many times in his ministry (Matthew 5:22, 29-30; 10:28; 18:9; 23:15,33; Mark 9:43-47; Luke 12:6; 16:23).
