A VERY SMALL REMNANT

Isaiah 1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

Paul cited this verse in Romans 9:29.

This verse is speaking of the remnant of Israel. The remnant that was of faith.

In Romans 9:24 and Romans 9:30 Paul is speaking of the Gentiles who also by faith are included in the remnant of Israel.

The remnant of Israel is not the body of Christ.....you can not find the body of Christ before Paul wrote of it.The body of Christ was a mystery, the remnant was in prophecy, in the law and the prophets.

you can not find the body of Christ before Paul wrote of it.The body of Christ was a mystery, the remnant was in prophecy, in the law and the prophets.

The Body of Christ has existed as long as Christ has existed, you cannot have one without the other. The Mystery of it may not have been revealed up until Paul but the existence of His body was and is eternal as Christ is. The Church, the Body of Christ was chosen in Christ before the foundation. Do you deny that Christ Himself existed before the foundation of the world ?
