It is annoying to hear that,. We have boldness and access with confidence assorting to Eph 4:12.
However since I know that Jesus died for my sins as well, I choose not to correct it until they are humble enough to do so

Yes, it was a time of captivity for Israel to Babylon. The Lord was telling them to get use to being in captivity till they should be brought home again.

It is about prayer. In all our situations if we call to God, He will listen to us.
